her little awkward dance moves..and then she sings...im still laughing. but the train ride at the end...man, that was some heavy shite. amazing actress.
Someone could think of this episode as a filler, but it's actually great. They showed us that Villanelle isn't just a comic character, she's complex, evil, torn, strong and fragile at the same time.
I'm not so sure at this point if she is truly evil. She kills yes. She likely has APD. Or borderline. But killing is her job. She seems to be an abused kid who grew into an neglected adult. Very complex.
What about the scene when Villanelle says “I think I need to kill you” and then when we see the house blow up and she walks away angrily? What song was playing during that? Was it Elton John?
I find this whole episode poignant. We see Villanelle evolving in her family. With ordinary people, who at first glance integrate her into their group without any problem. As if she had always been there. And she's trying to be part of that family. Therefore, the transition with the rejection of her mother is truly dramatic. Heartbreaking. We do not expect it. And that hurts.
I was beginning to get upset that they were killing off all the best characters of the series, but this episode was truly fantastic, revives the narrative in my opinion
Só aqui no Brasil ainda não tem esse episódio. Não aguento mais! Enquanto isso, let's Sing Crocodile Rock! ❤️ Epic scene 🇧🇷 Jodie is... I don't know How to say! This Girl is rare.

Us too! We kept replaying it! Hilarious! That note!
I like to think there is an edit locked away somewhere where she does the whole song.
I'm still amazed by the brilliance of this episode, hope Jodie wins the Emmy this year for her outstanding performance.
We will protest if she doesn't.

I am pretty sure no one views it as filler given everything that follows.
You can hear Jodie's scouse accent come through when she starts singing
Hell yeah.
I have never known was a scouse accent was until I watched this show and I was shocked to hear her in interviews.

Ep 5 is all about Jodie’s amazing talent.
Editing in this show is incredible. To cut just a second after she starts singing was brilliant, it's so much funnier.
Idk why but I love this scene so much I keep rewatching it
My favorite episode of this entire series
2:32 her face😭😭😭
After watching this now I understand why Villanelle killed everyone except two.
the stepfather though..

What sort of mind could have dreamt up this cast of characters. And each family member delivered their couple of lines perfectly. Genius.

I swear this scene is one of the greatest and the song is the shit

Is Villanelle not absolutely adorable in this scene?
I hope the stepfather wasn't killed in the fire.😭 He is kind.
Everybody but the brother and the little half brother died

Thanks. It was in the title but since I never heard Elton John before I had the trouble. 😂
