Wonderful movie, bought tears to my eyes. No one ever thinks about how many horses died in the war, incredible. Definitely a must watch film.

I've seen this movie a bunch of times and EACH and EVERY time my dad and I ALWAYS end up crying out hearts out. This is my favorite movie of all time!! The first time I saw this movie I just ran to my horse afterwards and hugged the crap out of him! We taught him to come to us by a whistling call like him and Joey in the movie. It's amazing and outstanding beyond words!

Honestly in my opinion Spirit is by far the greatest horse movie ever. I haven't watched War horse yet but I will soon. It looks like a sad movie though.

Literally the one of the best movies I've ever seen. If you don't go to see it, you are cheating yourself out of the experience of a lifetime! I loved it so much! I'm going to buy the DVD when it comes out, maybe even some for my friends and family too.

I went to go and see this last night and I haven't seen a film like this in a long time. It was AMAZING. one of the best films i think I've ever seen, the effects are stunning and the story line is really touching, GO AND SEE IT NOW!!!!!

We are learning this in school so this is my first time watching war horse but we haven't finished yet lol
By the time War Horse left my local theater, I had seen it 9 times. If it were still playing, I'd go again, and probably again after that. I can't think of the last movie I wanted to see twice, let alone 9 times. I absolutely loved this movie.
Horses are intelligent animals. They have an amazing sensitivity and it was portrayed in this movie. Horses are wonderful animals and they should be respected and highly regarded in this world! Way to go Steven Spielberg!

I love this movie :') and people say its boring and all that crap but it isn't you make a bond with you're horse and then its taken away from you, you're best friend you're everything really, i cant imagine the pain:/ five stars
This film is awesome. I saw it today and is the best horse movie I have seen by far. It amazed me how Joey (the horse) survived all the different disasters. This is a must watch film but it is very emotional.

With Spielberg's direction the horse out staged Loki and Khan.
The bit at the end really gets me "Be Brave, Be Brave, Be Brave" i was so dissapointed when that didnt happen in the film
I've waited all year for this movie. Beyond poetic, majestic, sublime & utterly breathtaking..in meaning. This trailer alone makes my heart soar. Just beautiful

I saw War Horse at the cinema yesterday. A truly wonderful, stunning, powerful and emotional movie. The best film I have ever seen!
I saw this a few months ago with my class, loved it...I never knew it's as old as I am though-
i just stood outside of the premier of this movie in NYC like 3 hours ago, saw steven spielberg, my friend high fived tom hiddleston, and i saw a whole bunch of other semi-famous people that had something to do with this movie, and now, three hours after all that, i am for the first time, watching the trailer for this.
Happy 10th Anniversary! Still one of my most favorite movies of all time! First saw it back in theaters and I loved it.
This film was amazing i seen it with my best friend and we practically cried for half of the film.
The film really makes you think about how horrible war was for the animals that had no choice in weather they fought in the war or not

Never saw the movie but the trailer gives me the chills. I saw it once many years ago and it never left me. The be brave part really gets me.
What a great picture. From terrific script,acting and really warm and sometimes heartbreaking plot this is truly excellent film. It has drama, comedy bits, beautiful scenery and colorful characters. Of course our main hero is the horse and he steals every scene he's in.You can feel connection between horse and Albie and although its the strongest i liked how horse filled people with at least little bit joy and happiness in their lives. I strongly recommend it. 4,5/5!

This was by far the best movie I have ever seen! It's such a touching story! It will make you laugh and cry ( sometimes at the same time)! I left that movie theater completely speechless! If I could I would go and see that movie another 10 times! The second it hits shelves I'll be waiting at the door to buy it! I already got the soundtrack and I have listened to it every single day since I got it! I ride horses, and now all I can think about is that horse while I'm riding! Best. Movie. E

In such a very long time then i have come across another wonderful movie, Such an awesome family movie with no regrets. I was very amazed to see how the whole story line of the movie was connected and with a director like spielberg, it was just pure talent.

I remember reading this book back in 6th or 7th grade and I was like...this has got to be made into a movie. And now it is gonna be a movie. I really hope I can go see this on Christmas.
People are saying that this is a sad movie, but it is simply portraying the truth of Horse's in WW1. Over 8 million of them died, and yes, it is a sad movie. But it's the truth.

This movie looks beautiful. It truly annoys me when people bash Spielberg, accusing him of "shameless emotional manipulation". The man is one of the greatest filmmakers who has ever lived, and only a fool would deny it. Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T., Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan- these are all classics that will stand the test of time and be loved forever. He also founded Shoah using EVERY PENNY OF PROFIT from SL. A great filmmaker and a great human being- long live Spielberg!

I live near the area of burrator reservoir, dartmoor where they filmed some of the scenery. So glad Spielberg chose dartmoor.
Was at a advance screening, its not all about the horse, but more about the lives of the people that the horse passes hands through, and how the war effects the lives of those people

For those of you who think this is "just a horse" movie, you are wrong. Actually it's more than that. There are good reasons the original story was made into a theater and a movie.
