I am in zone7a, they are pushing green growth now. If you just planted them, will take a little longer. If you look closely, you can see very light brown at where new growth will come.
I go this ga866 from Edible landscaping, this time I got the correct one because it made two fruits small fruits last year. The first and big one I bought from Merrifield garden for $225 as ga866 but when it fruits, I knew it's just a regular LI.

By far the GA 866 is the sweetest jujube. I wont even bother with the Li/Lang, just GA 866 with a Honey Jar as pollinator.
