- Here is a demonstration of an Alesis Microverb 4.
We look at the front and rear panels only to follow up with a demo of each patch.
The Alesis Microverb 4 looks to be a sturdy reliable rack effects processor with a good number of adjustable effects.
From reverbs to delays and modulation through to pitch shifting the Microverb 4 seems to have it all.
May 2023: Still relevant to me. Thanks for the demo. Bought one from an electronics recycler several years ago and just plugging it in.
Respect for this - ordered this unit yesterday and can't wait to get my hands on it!
I have one of these. I'm not disappointed at all with the effects. A good rotary (70/71) simulator, pleasant reverb and chorus effects too.
I'm waiting for my "new" one to arrive. The reverbs seem to be pretty legit, very 80's-ish , what i was looking for ! And it's cheap too ! Can't wait to receive my unit !
Top demo - Thanks.
Thanx a lot! Very nice demo video! )
Prince and Mac DeMarco brought me here
Woah prince used one? how cool
number 37, crank the mix all the way up and you're set to go
@@jacksonchan6822 damn nigga thanks for reminding me to get one of these
is it ok if directly put a guitar cable even thou no mixer,,,,
Hi, how did you "hook" it up? cable wise....I have Saffire pro 40...Thanks for a great video!
Отличный реверб только старый очень работал на таком же примерно лет 20 назад
+Thor Odinson
Это не плохо. Мне нравится MIDIVERB 2 лучше, хотя . Спасибо за просмотр
Wonderful!
I'm very happy for you!!! ;)
Play some fucking Mac Demarco mate
Geezus christ that was pretty thorough.. did u just go through all 200 fx presets in 20 min?
Hello friend I wonder if can split out. Example take effect for output A and a delay in the output B.
does it have a reverse reverb like it's predecessors? can't seem to find the answer anywhere..
Yeah. Preset #19 is the Microverb 4's singular reverse reverb.
♥
Quantos Amperes é a power suply? What amperes is a power supply?
can I change the patches by any foot control
Where is the guitar loop from? If you explained, maybe i missed that part.
Can somebody please help me? I use a Saffire Pro 40 Interface with Logic Pro X and am looking at getting this reverb, how do I wire it up? and how does it work? Do i have to record the effect on the rack live as it goes in or can i record the track and add the effects later? Debating between rack effects and plug ins but unsure of the capabilities of them both. Thank you.
i would also like to know the same
Not sure on that one, But I would assume since Logic Pro X is a DAW that you would have to add the reverb either in the pre recording signal path for one track or ping pong a recorded track to a new track by going out through your interface and then back in on a new track or add the reverb in a mastering situation.
Paul do you know much about repairing the MV4? Mine turns on, all good as always but just recently it gives out no signal at all. It's mint in its box too...any ideas?
No sorry, I have never looked at a MV4 schematic.
I would start with the simple stuff like the input and output jack connections to the PCB.
Gone through a few now all same issue. But guitar to amp works fine..all very odd. Can you tell me what your inputs/outputs are for this video? Are you going from guitar into unit > then into amp or what you got going on? Thank you kindly
FleshCatOfficial,
A simple question:
Are you currently using the correct MV4 power supply? Is that I have seen people sometimes complain that the MV4 stopped working and examining the situation what happened is that they're not using the right power supply.
From the description you made, this is one of the odds. Actually, the power supply input refers to "9 volts AC". If you feed this input with 9 volts DC, what happens is that the MV4 gives the feeling that it is working (leds, etc) but there is no audio in the outputs
I hope my observation has not been too late and that it has gone, at least it has been really useful.
So a mic....goes in the left input....?
AWSOMUS LATEST I’m sure this unit is like the Midiverb ii, so it does not matter which input you choose. Whether it’s plugged in the left or right channel it will be recognized as a mono source.
How is the connection to mixer?
how to connect on my wireless mic system and mixer?
Can you do a demo but with the mix all the way
Is bitdepth only 18 Bit?
CosmicNIO No it's 24 Bit signal processing
Como q é ligado os cabos na parte traseira do Microverb
Why only 1 signal led on
+pham quach He's only running it in mono.
+christopher9000p Correct. An error on my part.
how to model no ? ? ? ?
Is it for music. Not for mic
To fast you change the programs and you don't show all results of any programs - sorry, dislike...
nothing but monotony
Well if I had played something different for every effect other would complain that they couldn't get a real sense of the effects.
Damned no matter what you do.
This demo has no point .It certainly does not explain or display the units capability's
+Phill Robinson Interesting. I am sorry you feel that way.
Maybe you can watch it again.
I disagree, I found it pretty helpful. Thanks for the great video Paul!
Cool video!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
