My local Target actually has a decent selection, but not as much as this one. The 20% off is great, especially when combined with the 3 for 2 they sometimes do for books. I got three volumes of Villains are Destined to Die for $10 each during the last sale. They have way more online, though, so I tend to just buy online from them.
My Target is a mix bag, there's been times that the selection is limited and like you mentioned its typically the big popular ones. Which I'm actually ok with, Walmart is similar. But with Target, the 20% off has been awesome to save on those series. It just a bummer when some volumes aren't on the discount and you have to make sure the cashiers give you the discount or one will end up paying full price. Recently they have more titles online for shipping, which is cool if you have a target card.
I haven't been in a Target in forever. I also tend to organize bookshelves wherever I go. I was mildly surprised to see Toilet-Bound Hanako there just on the name alone, but nothing wrong with a little surprise.

Nice deal you got! And I agree, the selection online is a lot better than in-store. Hopefully, their in-store offerings expand.
