For those who haven’t watched the episode. All judges picked Jay as the top tier. Seokhoon told everyone that Jay is from boys planet and he is good to which Jay replied really!! After the performance Baekho said Jay is different to which Seokhoon replied he sure is. Wendy also praised Jay saying that he sings like he is having a conversation which is quite charming/attractive.
jay's harmonization is really good , his voice is not empowering those who sings with him and instead sounds like he's supporting their voice which produce great harmony idk how to describe it but i love it
I have watched all episodes except the final (not aired yet) and I have to say...no one beats Jay's vocals. So far he's in the top running as far as contestants go. He's the only one I know that has such perfect adlibs, runs and vibrato...like he knows his voice and how to use it. He's sung this way since he competed in Under19 and has improved so well.

BIGBANG wasn't playing when they released this song. This one here is possibly the best male cover I've heard of "IF YOU" REALLY. -- The guy who sings Seungri and Daesung's part is really good. Many idols have said that Seungri's part is difficult because it doesn't give them much time to catch their breath during the note changes and Daesung's part literally no one sings it because it's "too powerful" but this guy in white did it very well and even did that raspy voice in Dae's part. All four of them did very well but what is this about? Are they competing among themselves or are they a group?

This song is difficult to cover because it has many layers.. They did a good job, they portrait the emotion well too.. The one with the white shirt has a combination of Seungri and taeyang voice..
it’s a good thing they did a show like this, we know there are a lot of underrated vocalists among the idols, and they look for another opportunity through survival shows (e.g produce shows) but almost all of this shows mostly give importance to all rounders only, and tends to overshadow the good vocals.. and we all know not all of them are also good in other aspects like dance.. so it’s nice to have this show solely for vocals and to appreciate their talent..
Jay has an incredible vocal tone, range and control. His live vocals sound like studio tracks! I am soo glad that not only did he debut as a solo idol (check out his ‘Late Night’ debut album, and his first comeback mini album ‘Neighborhood’ that releases on Nov 22nd 2024), but he is in a permanent group One Pact (as mentioned in build Up), and spoiler alert is in the vocal project group B.D.U!

I am soo glad that not only did he debut as a solo idol (check out his ‘Late Night’ debut album, and his first comeback mini album ‘Neighborhood’ that releases on Nov 22nd 2024), but he is in a permanent group One Pact (as mentioned in build Up), and spoiler alert is in the vocal project group B.D.U!
