- A lot of acupuncturists are afraid of needling certain points. I get it, I've been there. Over the years I developed my own way of needling that keeps me comfortable and my patients relaxed. thank you for this - informative - tricky point to find - Do you happen to have any videos on LR5? Deep needling of that going into the facia sometimes I find is not something easy to do depending on how you are taught. I was taught a bit more superficially.
Liver 5? I have not made any vids on that one. There are definitely lots of different ways to needle the points though. I’d trust yourself and what feels right for you and your patient.👍
I needle my Liv5 all the time. It's straight forward perpendicular needling.

It’s important to find your own style with needling. There’s never one way.
@AlyssaDazetLAc great. That's what I would like to hear. There are points I feel comfortable needling oblique although Deadman App and my tutors say perpendicular. Case in point is Liv3. I think it should be needled with an angle.
