Which flood jet nozzle do you recommend with the Specticle Flo? I see there are different sizes that put out more water. Thanks for your help. Great channel!
I did the math and it seems like you get over 350 1000 sq ft applications, each of which cost about $2. The manufacturer really should consider selling a smaller bottle or even a per-application packet of this stuff.
Can you please clarify the 1.5ml/1000 sqft that the video cites? The instructions I have read indicate you can select between two programs for Turf Type Tall Fescue. The "Rapid" program calls for up to three applications of 0.75 to 1.1 fl oz//Acre on a 21-28 day interval. 0.75 to 1.1 fl oz/acre equals .5ml to .74ml per 1000 sqft. The "Slow" conversion program calls for .38 to .75 fl oz/acre on a monthly basis once temps reach 70 degrees through October 15th or when max daily air temperatures are below 65 degrees. .38 to .75 fl oz/acre equals .27ml to .5ml. I just want to make sure I am using the correct application rate and I don't see where 1.5ml per 1000 sqft for 2 applications is called out in the instructions. Thank you.
Ron, I see the max rate per application is 2.25 fl oz/acre which converts to 1.5ml/1000 sqft. I assume the video is citing the max application rate/1000 sqft - correct?
Take a look at Nufarm's documentation here: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0524/7274/2047/files/Velocity-PM-Lawn_Care_Guidance.pdf?v=1712320139 2.25 fl oz per 1 acre works out to 1.5 mL per 1000.

Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to trying out Specticle Flo this Fall as my PreEmergent.

I've spoken to them about smaller packaging. Currently no plans to do so though.
Glad to see we have another tool to target poa. I think we all can agree it suck to have it in your lawn
Cool season folk rejoice
Could I use Sedgehammer and Barricade by Anderson during my pre emergent as a separate application ?
Yes
What do you recommend for poa in warm season grass like centipede or St Augustine?

I would be scared to use this with bluegrass
It's hit and miss for sure. Have to make sure you have one of the cultivars that tolerates it
