I always love your painting videos and explaining so much. I never had the chance to use a sprayer because of the jobs being remodels or basement. The houses that I would have done the finished drywall they always had their own painters. But I agree so much how important it is with the prep work and especially removing plastic and other things while the paint is wet. I've seen other painters use that sprayer system and they are very happy with it as well. One of the biggest things I love is how most of your jobs are all smooth ceilings etc. In our area there's so much textures on ceilings and I do like one that I've done quite a while is a Spanish texture but very light and when it does it actually looks like clouds on the ceiling. But I do agree that I love smooth ceilings as well. Great job Josh and hats off to your helpers as well. 👍🏻👍🏻🔨🔨
After watching your videos, making me want to become the excellent laborer 😊. Your explaining and informative in details by far the best i watched and helped me better understanding about my work. Thank you so much !
I built a home and the builder would not finish the garage, they taped and did some mud but there are many imperfections in the tape and mud, do I need to sand it all apply more mud to even out perfections prior to painting?
It has to be drywalled and at least taped in order to meet code if t is attached to a living space. So basically builders are just cheap for not going all the way
Garages are not counted as finished square footage so it doesn’t matter if they are finished or not, basements people intentionally do not finish when built so they get a tax break on the square footage and then finish them later so they dont get taxed on the finished square footage.

Being a painter, i appreciate the amount of time you take to complete the all important preparation. Top-man
This comment coming from a painter is very motivating. I have learned with a lot of DIY projects, preparation is key. I appreciate your comment!
True electrician taking care of the screw holes. As apainter never crossed my mind. Thanks for the tips.
Yes, I want to make sure I can place the receptacle onto the electrical box without any resistance. Thanks for watching!

You made a whole lot of videos that have helped me out through the years. Keep up the good work, Josh 👏 🙌
I try to put out a video every one to two weeks. That would be very helpful for this community. I appreciate you watching my videos. Thanks a lot!
You should always backroll primer on new drywall regardless how good you are
I've seen houses smaller than that garage, can't wait to see it when it's completed.
It is a good size garage. It’s a combination of a workshop and outdoor kitchen as well. Stay tuned, lots more updating videos to come!
Great refresher, but I definitely need to look at that video on priming.
Nice and thorough!
I appreciate that!

Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Since you live in western NC make sure you watch Eric and Jaime Perkins from Perkins Brothers Builders.
I'm a car detailer and I want to waterproof my garage. Can you suggest a primer and paint to use please.

How much did it cost you in material and supplies?
Are you doing the bathroom next
It will be soon. I got some other things. I need to make videos on first. Stay tuned!
I'm hoping you're going to do the epoxy and flakes/chips on the floor. 🤞🏻
Why not dust mop before u vacuum floor. Makes sense to me
You could do that for sure but when you use a blower to remove the dust from the walls, it adds extra dust in the atmosphere. I hope that helps!
Invest in a window fan. Set it on high.
I thought has crossed my mind before. Thanks for your input!
👍🔨
Why do a lot of new places have the garage unfinished? I’ve heard that because of tax purposes maybe but idk

Fast and easy lmfao, brb
