Been using mine now for a couple of months around south London. Utilitarian little machine but good value. 3rd speed assist starts to drain the battery after circa 8 miles but I am a circa 16 stone going uphill. Around town gives me a circa 20 miles on one charge but speed 2 will conserve power on the flat and at 12mph in London traffic is fine for the conditions. Make sure it is fully charged. Dipping down to 3 bars will give you about 10 miles to get home on speed 2 before it dies.
Thankyou. Love your motorbike reviews too especially the mt09 and Tracer 9gt which after a few test rides and other reviews I now proudly own and it is as you said. Awesome 👍
Hi Mark, there’s a hell of a lot of bikes that look identical to this bike now, so many. Good they are a great price but not sure a good it for me because of height. I am a fan of rear hub chinese motors having had two. Very reliable and covered 10000 miles between the bikes. Great that you don’t need a bike rack and hopefully a safer way of storing and carrying it. I take it the motor is bafang who have made e bike motors for 60 yrs. for the price why buy a non electric bike. The other parts are seen on other bikes. Does anyone walk that lovely harbour path ? Always seems empty
Any advise on erratic speedo? My bike is fine till we have to work up a serious hill. After several minutes of strong peddling when the battery begins to diminish say 3 bars the speedo becomes erratic and then defaults to 00. The motor still powers but the odometer stops reading. Leave stationary for 30 mins it resets. Hitway says speak to supplier. Supplier "SPARKOTECH" an internet box supplier will not respond. Hitway says it needs a new motor replaced but will not help. I wondered if it is just the screen electronics but maybe a sensor in the hub. Any advce?
My wife is recovering from a knee replacement and can't yet bring her knee all the way up to the top of the peddle rotation. Can this bike be rode with out peddling?
I don't think so no or he would have mentioned it. Throttles are illegal in the uk apart from assisting you up to 4mph and that's all. If you want a throttled bike it can only be used on private land or off road.
Can you try and review some 125cc equivalent electric motorbikes/scooters soon please. Lots of very nice bikes starting to come out but they cost a lot.
Thanks for the review. I currently have a cyrusher kommoda. However I find it too heavy and it’s just too powerful I’m just a bit of a nervous rider at times . I’m thinking of getting one of these instead
Hi Mark. How do you rate the rain resistance of the bike because the battery is at the back and the power connection is at the bottom. Is it waterproof? Maybe it's better not to drive when it's raining?

Yes lots of people walk it but I always time it when it's quiet in the morning about 930 ....or cut out the bits with the people 😂
Cheers mark
They all use pretty much the same frame.
I am 6' and 67 years the saddle goes high enough. Very pleased with this for the price. The frame is not always easy for "getting your leg over"
Excellent review I like 😮
Nice video!!!😍😍

Hi no it's pedal assist only ... throttle can be fitted but not UK legal.....but everyone does anyway 😊 lol 😂
She will have difficulty putting her leg over the frame. It's not a step through

Yes ...with all e bikes I wouldn't recommend riding in heavy rain ...light showers ok ... they are shower proof only really
Cheers mark
