I have not found an answer to this question. Does the quantity number of the weapons actually matter? And how do I use it?
Example: if I have a Nova, and the ER Laser quantity on the left arm is 6, do I roll six times? Or do I roll once? Does each laser apply 10 damage? Or do I treat it as a single laser hit?

Good question Devin. The Nova Prime has x6 Er Medium Lasers in each arm, or (6). Each laser is a separate weapon so you can choose to fire up to six of those lasers, each doing the seven damage if they hit, and each generating five points of heat regardless. They are not fired as a group, you must roll 2D6 for each laser you choose to fire with. Does that help?

If your rolled for critical hit and scored the location that tell to roll again, you roll again. But what if you roll again a "roll again" location? Do we go into a repeated rolling of dice until we get a location that is not "roll again"? Or are rolling again allowed only once?

Thanks for the comment Mihajlo. You keep re-rolling dice until you get a result. In the case of roll again locations in both a top 1-6 and bottom 1-6 location like an arm or torso you re-roll both dice. Does not take as long as you would think. Hope that helps you.

@@AlphaStrikeWePlay Just to confirm if I understand this correctly - you roll a location that say "roll again" in the record sheet, and you roll again 2d6 and again the dice roll results in the same or another location that reads "roll again", you continue to roll 2d6 again and again until you get a dice result that lands on a location that has a viable component in it, that isn't a "roll again" location.
I am asking this, because it's completely weird for me to keep rerolling the dice for critical hit location, because it removes the "luck-of-the-draw" of being hit internally, but that hit missing components. With this mechanic in place, why have "roll again" locations at all, as the only viable critical hit location roll that will allow you to continue playing the game is a location with a component in it.

@@MikeKnell2884 Yes, you keep rolling until you hit a viable section in the location (not a 'Roll Again' or a section that had a component that has already been hit). You earned at least one Critical Hit by rolling an 8+ (Luck-of-the-draw) so something has to take damage. If you have damaged every viable section in a location it transfers just like armour damage. It is not uncommon for light BattleMechs who have virtually nothing internally on some arms or side torsos to have the critical damage rolls being made to transfer to the center torso. Speed is life for the Locust. :)

Hey, I'm entirely new to Battletech, and I noticed that some of the more obscure mechs don't have record sheets such as the Hellfire and the Rakshasa. What would the options be to find record sheets for these mechs?

Skunkwerks or megamek are great for getting pdfs on your computer or if you are more prone to using your phone then Mech Factory is also a great resource. All three are also good tools for list building. I prefer Mech Factory for list building and looking things up and Megamek for printing sheets since you can pick what picture you want for the mechs.
