Amazing work love the whole series! Does jumping vertically add heat? So if your mech was on level 0 and jumped up to a level 5 height directly beside it - is that only 1 hex of heat (3 heat min.)?
'Mechs always jump vertically a number of levels equal to their jumping MP. The vertical movement does not count toward heat buildup. So, you are correct: if a 'Mech jumps vertically 5 levels (or any number of levels) and one hex horizontally, it generates the minimum 3 heat.
Okay, get ready for a stupide question in return. What open circles are we talking about? Are they the ones in the Heat Data box and under the words "Heat Sinks"?
@@biggrigg4281 Yes, the open circles on the right side of the hat data box....when do you color in those open circles. what is their significance in the heat phase....
@@jctxcboy36 those bubbles represent the number of heat sinks the 'mech has. When a heat sink takes a critical hit, which means you lose one, fill in one of the bubbles to remind you that your 'mech dissipates less heat.
@@biggrigg4281 Thanks....played for years over 10 yrs ago but trying to remember all of the specifics. Could you do some videos covering ECM's, Pulse Laser's Vs Normal Lasers, Targeting Computers, etc. Could use some videos that cover some of these more advanced systems.
My respect to all contributors in this Battletech community.

Awesome buddy! You're sounding great!!
Thank you so much. After watching your audacity videos, my average view duration has increased!
BiggRigg42 that’s fantastic buddy! I’m stoked for you💪
Double heat sinkes come in handy
Indeed.
I always wondered if mechs had a reservoir of steam to store heat. It would be awesome to power a dropship generator wirh steampunk tech.
That is such a brilliant idea. Maybe 'mechs could have steam jets that they spray at infantry? Infantry love things like that.
@@biggrigg4281 A steam jet will not be like a flamer.
@@aquarius5719 no, but I wouldn't want to get hit by a steam jet.
@@biggrigg4281 What is the range of a steam stream?
@@aquarius5719 I don't know. Want to homebrew some rules for it?
okay, get ready for stupid question...lol. On the Heat scale, there are multiple open circles (2-3) on the heat grid...what do they mean?

That was an excellent question by the way.
