I threw my HP 7610 in the garbage can today. The ink set (black and 3 colors) cost were $75 dollars plus tax. I did the refilling thing the past couple of years however I found that those cartidges could be refilled three times before they would be rejected forever. Si I bought a on sale $29.00 copier at Walmart and the printing quality is excellent.
This video was extremely helpful: after seeing what I, an untrained person, would have to try to do to clean the print head, I know that I should throw the printer out and buy a new one. :-)
What liquid are you using?
I just tried it twice, then took my sledgehammer and killed it good. HP should be ashamed of themselves putting out a product like this.
Spot on, their ink replacement cost is more than the printer is worth
I have bought a printer for cheap because it had the same printhead as my printer. But it was not used i think more than a year and the ink has totally clogged the nozzles. When i tried to clean it only the magenta passes a little bit of solution through. 99% of the printhead is clogged with dried ink. I have tried to submerge the bottom of printhead into hot water, then carefully inject distilled water with alcohol into it at all color locations but unfotunately the nozzles are completely blocked, i cant even inject the solution because of the air inside which is trapped isnide. I am afraid of pushing the syringe harder because i can tear the foil. Do you have any solution for this special case how to clean completely dried up ink from the nozzles? Thank you
did you inject normal water or is it possible to inject alcohol
9:36 I wonder, just out of curiosity, is the print head cover necessary for the function of the printer or could it be removed and left off? GREAT video, thank you very much for sharing : )
Is it just water?
distilled water

Followed the steps correctly, but now my print carraige cannot moves, it says it is an obstruction., HELP!
I've tried this like 20 time but still the same problem i think it's should to change the whole printerhead to work again
anyone but me notice he didn't put the springs back over the hoses and hook them back up
if I don't have a syringe?
Shame no-one shows the printer actually fixed and working!!! Just wasted a complete set of original XL cartridges on this! The cartridges all registered as HP originals but that's as far as it got.
❤❤❤
i went through the same as you did, but i still get the error?
Any suggestions?
I think the flat cable might be damaged or the socket had been contaminated with ink.
The same
And you kept the ink from running all over...I might try this.
After all this, the HP still didn’t work. So I trashed it and bought a new wide paper printer.
No narration of the steps, or tools used, or where to get the syringe, nor a mention of what particular printer model this is. This video is really kind of useless unless you are some sort of geek.
