the use of the miko melody is just brilliant. probably my favorite extra stage theme of all time.....except for maybe extended Hourai Victim. close call
listenin' back, this is the best theme ever! HSiFS encapsulates a lot of hidden feelings if u listen to them really closely~ This one in particular really captures that "Creepy and Ominous" vibe from its repetitive piano, but as the song progress? You will reach those strings that echoes hopelessness which is then cut by fresh pianos which is like a scream of hope. Immediate change, it goes back to that ominous vibe again, as if questioning the hope felt? "It's impossible! You can never save Gensokyo this time. You're bound to lose~" then the piano jumps back with added strings to support its positivity, then screams with that trumpets which is adding climax to how something so negative can be destroyed with "hope" as the hope finishes, it then comes back to that questionable piano motif which was cloudy when the song started, but this time, it feels less scary... 13:50 is such a sorrowful but uplifting vibe, the "hope".
Well Cirno entered from Etarnity's backdoor, Reimu must've either used the help of yukari or Aunn's backdoor, Aya... i don't know and as for Marisa, perhaps the Jiso statue's backdoor ?
@@sanstheskeleton679 No idea, but Aya in her ending explains to Hatate that the door on her own back was the only thing connecting her to her enemy (Okina) and along with Hatate's thoughtography powers, she would be able to track Okina down. I don't know about Reimu and Marisa but I don't think their endings mention they use Aunn or Narumi's doors.
The intro sounds like the amalgamates' theme Im not saying that zun copied it. We know zun is not a "copy cat" that much, he also have some originality when it comes to music! I love his musics😘

the first 4 stage characters still had doors on their backs, that's how each main character got to enter the world of rear doors
