Roman Fort Hardknott Lake District

The Roman Fort at HardKnott in the Lake District, Cumbria, England. The Fort was built during Hadrian's reign 2nd century AD to protect the road and the valley between the Roman naval base at Ravenglass and Ambleside Fort.
