I agree. It doesn't matter if it came from a box. When people ask if I made it , I say 'Yes, I made it.......I made it to the store and bought it. Lol. A homemade gift is the best gift of all.
Why are people focusing on your bread and whether it's from a box? Your video was about the little decorative bread pan for the holiday! They should focus on the beautiful craft idea you showed us! 😊 Love your ideas Kelly, don't let negative comments bother you! I love your channel and your ideas are so stinkin cute! Merry Christmas! 🎅💖
Absolutely!! This great. I can see soooooo many ways to change up the box, customize the recipes fudge, cookies, brownies, gluten free recipes, vegan recipes, these types of gifts can truly be made for the person receiving them! 👍👍🥰
My dad was a real stinker about his food being made “from scratch.” He never knew Mom used mixes because she would hide the boxes in the trash, and he was completely fooled! So piffle on those who complain.....you can either spend the time making the food, or on making the presentation of the food fun. I don’t care for baking, but will happily make boxes until the cows come home! And, yes, for more paper crafts....I got a new Cricut Explore Air 2, and am loving its cutting abilities! Thank you for all your hard work, and Merry Christmas to you and your family! ❤️🤶🏻🤶🏻❤️
Not only did you make fudge, but you made the box also. You are special. Don't let others bully you. There is no way to satisfy everyone. Love all your videos. Keep up the good work.
You know in my 66 years, I have learned that negative thinkers make negative comments. I have loved every single DIY's that I have seen since I started watching. You make everything look so easy. Merry Christmas and Thank you so much for sharing your talents. It is greatly appreciated.
Nothing wrong with boxed! You still took the time to make it, thought about the person, etc. Sometimes I will just add a little something to it to jugge the recipe up a little. I just love your paper crafts!
Great project. Excellent start to finish tutorial. Thank you. I am sure your neighbors really enjoyed your handmade goodies and the wonderful packaging of those items. Wishing you a super holiday season. Hugs Susan
This was great. I agree with you that homemade is doing it at home, taking the time and making the effort. You didn't say made from scratch. Have a great day. Looking forward to more ideas like this one
Kelly, you are so handy and crafting comes quick to you, knowing shortcuts, but I think for me, getting the boxes that come 3 to pack for a dollar makes much better sense for me. Saving me time and less work to do.I make my Christmas butter cookies, put them in those boxes and give them to my neighbors. I do love seeing your talent. Thank you for all your efforts.
Such a easy peasy lemon squeezy project! Good idea! I think if you even go to the DT and buy prepackaged candy, or cookies and and make this box, the person receivibg it should be grateful to get it, cause anybody can buy a coffee cup and stick some candy in it, so this is a gift of love, homemade.
Love this idea! You are so talented. Kelly you have given me so much inspiration and I’m so grateful for you and your channel. Thank you! Merry Christmas to you and your family...
Great DIY! I have enough scrapbooking paper to last several lifetimes so love seeing new and easy ways to use it. Oh, and PS-if you make it at home, it is “homemade!” Love your videos!👍🏻💗
Love this idea ...its adorable....doesn't matter if you made the fudge from a kit or not ...all the kit provides is pre measured ingredients it saves time and money...love love this!!!
You have made some amazing and creative DIY's and this one is right up there with the rest. A handmade box to gift some home baked goodies is THE best. What a great idea. Thanks so much for sharing this Kelly.
Kelly, I agree 100%: "to-may-to, to-mah-to". Your instructions are so easy to follow and you have such great ideas. This is such a cute project. TFS and Merry Christmas 🤗🎄
Of course it’s still homemade. Those kits just save you buying all the individual ingredients. Love the boxes! You always have great ideas! Merry Christmas to you and your family! 🎄
Kelly... Oh how I wish I was one of your neighbors (all year long) ! And Do you EVER sleep? You are the busiest bee I know. Thanks for another great idea, Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Susan Trantules LoL yes I am very very busy BUT after today I am taking a full 5 days off and am not even going to turn on my computer 👍🏻hopefully my brain shuts down 👍🏻😋
I LOVE that you use things that us "normal" folk use. My husband use's the top of a pen for his on and off switch on his computer!!! The switch broke and he had the top of his pen in his hands... and he used it... and it worked!!! THANK YOU, Kelly .... for all your videos... and for thinking of us.... those of us that need to make something on a budget. MERRY CHRISTMAS, Kelly!!
Marge Werden I was a single mom with My oldest son Ray and my middle daughter Kayla for about 10 years. I was a bartender at Applebee’s raising them on my own! I always tried to come up with alternative ways of doing things when I crafted at the time because I didn’t have the extra money to buy the crafting tools. It is so important to me that I show alternative ways of doing things so those who think they can’t do it cause they don’t have a specific crafting tool can do it using other item and get the same results👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻big hugs to you and Merry Christmas 🎄 ~Kelly ☀️
Fudge recipe..... A small jar of peanut butter and a can of frosting, melt in the microwave. Take them out mix them together, pour into a pan and chill. Take them out cut them out. Enjoy!
I absolutely LOVE these paper crafts!! I haven't really ever made any "paper crafts" technically, but since I came across your channel and seen the super cute, adorable, simple, and budget friendly paper crafts I have an "itch" to go buy tons of card stock and scrapbooking paper to make some of these!! I have made my own "3D" stickers before by using solid plain white jumbo lable stickers, colored ones, and paint, markers, colored pencils, and crayons.... I make the colors I need if I dont have it, cut shapes I need, and layer them to make 3d stickers.
Amazing!!!! Hi Kelly. I haven't been on social media for awhile. These holidays came so fast. It was a bitter sweet Thanksgiving and Christmas. Anyway I'm back feeling alot better so I'm ready to do some DIY's. Your amazing. Love those cookie boxes and the window is darling. Those boxes can get costly. You did a wonderful job. I agree on homeade. My daughter and I make all of our goodies in boxes. As long as your making it with love and coming from your heart itsy special. You gave me a good idea for Valentine's. Have a fantastic day or night.
I don't see a difference between using the kit and buying the ingredients separately. If the criticizer didn't milk the cow, grind the wheat by hand, or raise the chickens they should just stay quiet! Love the box - so very clever and pretty.
Amazing Kelly and beautiful boxes.. you could also use clear cellophane paper to make the windows on the boxes and use different Christmas shapes to make the windows
Once again girl you knocked it out of the park!!! This is going in our guy gift baskets!! I love that you share your ideas with us!! Don’t worry about those people that have different definitions of”homemade”! You do great!!
Hi Mrs Kelly, love this great idea for easy homemade gift giving. Thank you ! I give homemade gifts that I bake however I have been putting the items in a gift bag. I will be trying your idea from now on. I love, love, love this. I notice you put the chocolate in a zip lock bag . Hope you don't mind a little tip that I got from home talk diys take a knife and heat it and run it down the bag that seals it and it looks like you got your item from the factory. That is what I do. Thanks again I truly love your work. 🤗😇
I love making window boxes, they always look soo beautiful, last year I made them for home made ginger bread and I made the box looked like an old Victorian leaded window, so it was like a lattice effect, I think home made boxes and treats are sooo much nicer to receive, thank you for sharing your tutorial... I do love the card stock you used... I hope you have a wonderful Yule time with your family my lovely... 💫☃️🎄🎅🎄☃️💫
Some people just have the need to pick apart or knock others down. Good for you for sticking up for yourself Kelly. Love this DIY and yup, would love to see more of your paper crafting too. I’ve loved making boxes to suit the gift I’m giving, including jewelry and it’s easy to personalize too. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have the merriest Christmas ever and a fantastic 2020! 💞🤗 #kindnessmatters

If you use a mixer and an oven in your home its home made! Geez people!
I know a professional cake decorator who only uses box mixes because the results are consistent! 🧁🎂🍰
