I love the bit in this where Peregrine Mendicant appears from the teleporter and Jack just looks completely stunned and afraid.
Actually, the reaction makes sense, given that since aquiring Bec's powers he's been effectively unstoppable, but now he's confronted with someone that not only matches his power, but has several very good reasons to want him dead.
That and he obstensively has a thing for powerful women...
And the Knight and Seer rise from the ashes of the dead planet, now cloaked in green flame. Once thought dead, each rises to godhood. Their sacrifice once in vain, they shall redeem themselves in death.

Everyone is talking about the GS creation and the Stridlones godtiering, but all I can think of whenever I hear this song is Sollux' badass sacrifice and the meteor rushing through space.

People's favorite moments in this song will always equate to whatever made them feel the strongest or what characters they are more attached to.
If people love the opening section, they got completely stunned at the reveal of the creation sun's creation.
The guitar, then the piano section that follows it is Sollux's moment.
The violin section after that is for Rose and Dave's god-tier.
Orchestral swells across the song come around when PM pops up.
I can't listen to the songs without watching Cascade and I can't watch Cascade without listening to the songs. Its a curse man. A beautiful, beautiful curse.

The green sun is made of two whole universes, so just imagine what the trip must have been like. Imagine if the flames of the sun just kept killing them over and over again as they ascended to meet aradia and sollux, if the deaths were neither heroic nor just.
@@palmerpatel6390 well according to pesterquest you dont have any nerves in the green sun so its not regular pain, but mspa reader eventually feels some kinda other pain that is less burning and more being ripped apart on a meta level
When that guitar started up when I was watching Cascade, when I saw the Green Sun, and when I realized what they had just done I just... flipped. This is such a powerful track.

This is really cool because not only did it show off Dave and Rose's ascension, it also debuted Bec PM. Saviour of the Dreaming Dead is cool too, but this is cooler, because Saviour only showed off Jade's awesome moment. Though I like saviour's OST more than this XD

The violin section at 1:18 when Rose and Dave go God Tier has easy become my favorite piece of music so far in Homestuck. It's just so damn expressive and has a sense of.. I don't know how to describe it. But I get immense chills whenever I hear it. All you boys and girls and the Homestuck team; I don't think you quite know just how talented you are.

Last comment... 3 years old. Wow. How behind the times am I? My kids (I am 48 fyi) got into homestuck in their extremely early teens. I always fancied myself a "cool dad".. I listened to everything they listened to.. hell , my youngest made me a stone cold 21 Pilots fan. My oldest got me into Vampire Weekend. I am a gamer, however and Homestuck just moved a bit too slow for me. I just couldn't stick with it. The music though was AWESOME. I LOVE this song.. and Cascade *makes finger signs of a mind being blown*. I have a ton of respect for Andrew Hussie. He created the minecraft of web comics. Thanks dude for giving my kids something they enjoyed SOO much they raced home to read the next episode. I am now trying to make my way through it.. The music keeps me coming back. Mad respect dude.. and btw.. this particular track? It speaks to my soul. I have listened to it as I drift off to sleep every night for 3 years.

The first guitar half of the song HEAVILY reminds me of the Canyons from Littlebigplanet. The other half with more violin reminds me of the Wilderness.

Meenah's session had a Tumor as well or at least a bomb that looked damn similar to it. So while it's possible that each session has a tumor it's probably not likely that each tumor forms a Green Sun. My guess is that only the Doomed Sessions have tumors with each one doing something different to aid or hinder the players.

Yes and no, every session has a green sun and a tumor, the tumor is a bomb meant to destroy Skaia and the Battlefield if a Scratch is performed on the Beat Mesa, as you dont want cluttered dead sessions everywhere in paradox space.
Okay so I'm not into homestuck anymore but the fucking Violin mixed with the awesome guitar is amazing and I have yet to find music like it

I always wondered why Jack didn't ditch his ring for the WK's scepter, since the scepter's not only grant all the prototyping powers, but also make you giant.
Parcel Mistress (pre-exile), Peregrine Mendicant (post-exile), Prospitian Monarch (after WQ gave her the crown), Prototyped Matriarch (after she picked up the ring) ... The amount of names the exiles have been given is truly amazing.

She's refered to specifically as Peregrine Mendicant from very early on, but only when she's on Earth. When she was in the Medium she's referred to as "Parcel Mistress".
I beleive in her present state she is generally called (though not yet in canon) "Prospitian Monarch".

This was my favorite part of the whole flash, because of the music and what was happening (Dave and Rose ascending to God Tier and PM with the fully prototyped wing, squee!!) and I'm so happy that someone has pit up just this part of the flash's music so I can just listen to this part and not have to skip around the full Cascade track. It's short for a variety of things (Parcel Mistress, Peregrine Mendicant, Prospitian Monarch). Just like AR and WV have different names at different points in time.

@AZNcelly Oh man, I cried too. I was convinced for a month before the flash that they were going to die and I braced myself for it. When the Tumor bomb thing exploded to create the green sun I was -convinced- they were dead and just kind of felt bad.
And then they weren't and I bawled with joy.

#t=1m16s was the God Tier reveal and it may have been the best music moment in the flash.
Maybe Calliope/Caliborn's sun was located in the spot where the Green Sun would be located when Dave and Rose created it. Getting it sucked into a black hole would clear the way for it.
This is easily one of my favorite songs from the flash.

The Green Sun isn't in a universe. It's in the Furthest Ring. Besides, if there's a black hole where the cherubs' sun was, it would still be there if anyone or anything showed up. At least until it evaporated. But hey, if you're gonna talk about those timescales, might as well talk about the end of Universe C altogether.

@dertdood What would possibly make you think he has two rings? He has the Black Queen's ring, PM has the White Queen's ring. There aren't any other rings yet that Jack would have access to. I mean, the Troll session Rings were obstensively destroyed by Terezi, and Jack hasn't even been to the new session to get one from there and even if he did the power boost would be negligible.
And if Jack was distinctly more powerful than PM, I don't think he would have fled, flushed feelings or not.
It also stands for Parcel Mistress, which is the canon term that always comes first to mind.

@dertdood The Kings do not have rings. Their power source/mark of office is their scepters, hence why the Black King became depowered when his was destroyed in "[S]WV?: Rise Up". The White King also became depowered in that same flash when he relinquished his Scepter. Jack got the White King's Scepter in "[S] Descend" but obstensively could only use it to initiate The Reckoning. I guess he couldn't use it's powers to become stronger, since it's kind of the chess metaphor of Queens being stronger
