Faller Car System Digital Vehicles stop for pedestrian crossing with traffic-lights.

This video recorded on the HaSaKo HO Modelrailroad shows very heavy traffic of digital cars at a pedestrian crossing. Cars automatically slow down and stop when the traffic light goes red and the pedestrians get a green light. No matter how many cars are in the queue they always slow down and stop directly behind the car in front of them. The distance between cars is controlled by software using indoor satellite system by Faller Car System Digital 3.0 to know the exact position of each car. There are no sensors in the road. Behind the pedestrian crossing is a road construction and cars have to pass with 30 km/hr speed limit, that is why cars drive slowly in that section. Enjoy watching.

@@jean-claudebackendorf8140 Jean-Claude, I switched about 3 years ago. Step by step I swapped to the satellite navigation technology and purchased the cars with digital cars. Its a big starting investment, and its not as simple as it may look. But once you have the basics all in place, then a new world of unlimited possibilities is open to you. In any case I believe that a digital car system adds a lot of value to the layout. So I decided to spend money on car system versus buying just more locomotives.

Yes, in everything is fully managed / programmed by the Faller software on the pc. I am using Faller Car System digital 3.0 with satellite positioning.

The cops where busy arresting a armed robber. The cars stop for the pedestrian crossing because the light is red and there is camera control. Somehow the pedestrians still do not wish to cross. 😂😂
