@@synthmalicious7541 I think whats actually going is pat is playing the lead, a drone, and the glissando all at the same time and chris is either playing the lead or a drone, I might be wrong about that but yeah.
Both Chris and Pat play the lead part, they pick the individual notes but let go of them between each note, that's the drone sound of the open strings, they also highlight the bass notes playing open E and A strings
