Martha Wash, Linda Clifford & Norma Jean Wright - It's Raining Men (First Ladies of Disco, 03072020)

The First Ladies of Disco performed at the Orleans showroom in Las Vegas, NV on March 7, 2020. Although the Corona virus was on everybody's mind and the size of the audience seemed to have indicated some fans stayed home; the show went on, giving those who attended the concert, a chance to forget the current situation for a few hours. It was a fun, highly energized evening with the three ladies, Martha Wash, Linda Clifford and Norma Jean Wright giving their all and showering the crowd with love.
They also showered the audience with their hits, including this massive disco anthem, "It's Raining Men," that was originally sung by The Weather Girls. Martha Wash, who was one of the original members, invited her current touring partners to join her on stage and they got everyone on their feet!!
It was an evening to remember and one that I will never forget. Who knew that a week later, most concerts in Las Vegas would come to a standstill. It was nice to escape for a little while.
