Weird question, but I'm looking at getting this setup and I'm curious; is your iPad Pro the 11" or 12.9" model? Curious to see what each looks like on this setup with the tablet holder.
I mean you can technically drill holes into your own shelf, just gotta have the correct thread size. But the simple answer is yes you need to have their shelf to attach their accessories
Did you say that was the large or the medium desk shelf? I have the 74in karlby from Ikea and was trying to debate between the medium or large since I have two 24in monitors. Was thinking about the grovemade shelf until I saw your video along with another youtuber.
This is the large shelf 👍🏼 and if I’m being honest, I LOVE grovemade but Balolo did this shelf better. You’re paying about the same price but Balolo’s has way more utility.

Question - how long did your order take to get dispatched? Balolo does not explicitly inform potential customers of lead times. I was just told 3 weeks to be sent out a week after I ordered. Unacceptable. 1 simple note on the website can prevent this but I suspect between the price and lead times they don't want to spook the buyer.
For mine it took about a week and a half since it comes straight from Germany and has to clear customs. I agree with you about the lead time indicator similar to what Grovemade has, but it seems like they have been really busy this holiday season due to them advertising heavily so I’m sure this is why the lead times are currently long.

Do you think this is a little too deep for a 24 inch deep desk? When sitting in front of my monitor arm I fear it make take up too much of my desk
In my opinion yes, this shelf will take up basically half your desk space. But hey if you don’t need that much working space, then why not? Haha
