  • I recently acquired a Strymon Mobius, and I was very impressed with how awesome the algorithms are, especially when used with synths like the Peak. Check it out

    From 6:30 to 8:06 is one of my favorite sounds I've heard in a long time. Tonally and musically

    This is an excellent demo, thank you! Would you recommend the Prophet Rev2 as a MIDI controller? Are there any limitations?

      Thank you! Yes I use my rev 2 as a midi controller for a few synths that I have, and also for MainStage (omnisphere 2). In fact, the newest omnisphere update will allow full integration of omnisphere directly on the rev 2 ( and other synths) but anyway I love the keybed, it's by far the best synth action key bed I've ever used, even better than my moog. And the Rev 2 is built like a tank

      Thanks for the response. That sounds really good. I was considering a dedicated controller but to get a high quality one such as Akai or Nektar, then it is 1/3 to 1/2 the price of a Rev2 8 voice - so I am thinking about that instead!

      +Vincent Vega oh yeah I totally understand. I have an Akai advance 61, it has great action but set me back like $600, and the rev 2 is superior still

    If you would had to choose one.. Rev 2 or Peak?

      that is one of the hardest questions to answer hahaha but because I mostly perform and play live, I would get the Rev 2 for ease of use with my live rig. For only recording, the Peak

    would prefer lower frequency effects but still non the less impressive!
    does it limits lower frequency effects?

    • @leiruagetro
      @leiruagetro  6 років тому +1

      so do you mean less depth, more subtle effects?

      Uriel Ortega
      I mean effecting like LFO
      John Carpenter, Blade runner,
      You know, those phasers

      +Adam Volk (Void Voyage) oh I understand. So you prefer using LFOs to create those modulation sounds

      yhe :D
      Is it possible to make those deep 2 sentence long sweeps?

    • @leiruagetro
      @leiruagetro  6 років тому +1

      +Adam Volk (Void Voyage) I think with the right settings, the LFOs can make really nice long modulation lines! Just depends on the depth and the speed
