I'm so glad that the store opening went so well! Congratulations, all your hard work is really paying off!
For the kuhli loach , I would love to mention that although you may not see them always, they do add some real depth and interest in the tank when you finally do see them !
I took the advice on 3 of these species, and I couldn't be happier. Corydoras for amazon tank, kuhli loaches for asian tank and cherry shrimps as a separate tank. All some of the most interesting aquatic creatures in the hobby.
Congratulations on opening your own shop! That's so great. I wish you the best success.
So glad you have had a good start with your fish store. Great advice Nick.
Congrats on your shop. I didn’t realise you are Brissy based. I’ll be sure to pop in, check it out and lend some support. Well done
Nice to see your back with regular uploads now the shop Is open
Have to say your enthusiasm for the hobby is inspiring and your camera work is second to none! I hope you keep the videos going and your shop is a great success.
Glad to see you pumping out great content during such busy times!! I love the store!
you are a great teacher Nick. The store looks supper! Amazing you put this together.
So happy for your grand opening on your shop you deserve the best I love your content it has helped me over the years specially the videos on baby fry thank you and congrats
That's so awesome! Grats on the store opening!
Everything looks tiptop mate well done! Absolutely beautiful fish
Gracias por compartir tus consejos 🙏🏻
Te saludo desde México 🤗👍
The rams are so beautiful! They’re definitely a more unique bottom dweller fish.
So nice to meet you in person Nick. My new Neon Tetra’s are so good. Congratulations on your shop/breeding room. Im going to have to get new freshwater tank so I can buy some more fish from you. lol
Awesome as always, keep it up.
I've had Bolivian Rams for years and they're one of my favorites! They're way hardier than the other types of Ram and my dominant male has long streamers on his tail. His breeding colors are really intense, too.
I thank you for the knowledge that you share, especially about breeding neon tetras. I watch your videos over and over and also take notes. It's inspiring to see young people in the fish hobby and I hope that you expanding your knowledge to other youth( like schools and colleges). Conservation is so important!!! Thank you once again
Great video as always Nick! Glad your store is doing well!
So glad your community got to come out and see all of your hard work! So glad it went well for you I really appreciate all the information that you share. I have a 40 gallon breeder and a 55 gallon and I've been thinking about getting another bottom feeder don't want anything to get too big. I would come to your shop but I'm in Ohio in the USA LOL I go to my own mom and pop store here, or small family store, thanks much and looking forward to future videos. Blessings to you and yours
I'm so thrilled for you. Wonderful shop. Good luck!
Nice work Nick, for me - corydoras are fantastic for any tank. Add a lot of character and turning over the sand helps to keep the tank healthy
So happy that the opening went well Nick. Love your quality content 🕺
Really happy for you mate. Keep living the dream
I love the new fish room!
Congratulations. Looks great
Congrats on your new shop!
Those are nice looking Bolivian rams! 😍
Hey bro, thanks for all your vids!
Thanks to you i started with the fishkeep hobby myself and got a GREAT community tank put together.
At the moment I have youkihi medaka, corydora pygmaeus & fire red cherry shrimp together in 1 tank and they LOVE it!
Keep it up bro! Looking forward for more vids ❤😃
Congratulations mate! What a great shop.
Congrats on your store!!!
CONGRATS! You are expert at breeding so you should do way better than other local fish stores.
Congrats to your new shop bro it's beautiful
So cool you are getting the faq of the store to the channel, wish all the success in the world
great vid!
One thing I never knew about or even thought of getting into fish keeping is... In New Zealand where I live, we actually can't get ANY shrimps at all. I think the (perfectly valid) concern is people will release them into the wild, whether intentionally or not, and they'll just explode in our waters. It's a bit of a shame that we don't can't get one of THE best clean-up crew around, but it's also kinda neat to learn.
Congrats on your opening mate....your a very knowledgeable young man...I think you have a big future as a fish keeper...wish your store was close to me !! Thanks I'm learning alot
Great video
Congratulations!!
I love you videos so much😊
I am from Singapore and I love your channel. 😊👍
I came in today and got one of your fighters, he is absolutely stunning and much more vibrant than the ones at my local stores
Congrats ❤️❤️❤️
From time to time you should do shop updates or when you restock. Would be fun to watch. Thanks!
Kfs killing it with the vids ❤
Whoooooo, I went to your shop yesterday, it was great
I was very shy lol, but you were super nice and made me feel so happy, I definitely left the shop with a smile!
CONGRATULATIONS :)
THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR EXPERIENCE TO YOUR SUCCESS :)
THANK YOU FROM ISRAEL :)
Hi Nick, what about converting your noisy sponge filters with the air stone trick? Would make the shop nice and relaxing
Yay I can watch a new video
I always heard cory's will only school w their species, but when I added 5 sterby's to my 6 false julli's they almost immediately schooled together. I love them, great personality, nice colors/patterns, easy to care for and great for tank health.
Good job
I wish I was near your shop !!! I live in Orlando and have just the Petcos and Petsmarts near me.
Good on ya
The store looks great. The first of a KFS empire.🐟🐠🦐🐳🐬
Hey dude thank you so so much . Love your vids . Very inspiring and helpful and informative . Could you please do tips on running a small breeding business with fish . Thanks bru
I just bought a spotted garra for my cool water tank and they’re amazing
Awesome content. Could you do a video on Australian Botanicals please? I've been trying to research safe leaves but couldn't find anything solid
My cory's are my favorite fish. They're so personable and goofy, and little breeding machines every time it rains
Wooo new vid :D
Hey nice video nick great advice
Just curious what happening with the OG fish room, is it still up and running?
Love the info and seeing them in the shop! Can you please mention metric measurements too? My aussie brain can't compute lol
10/10 shop
So happy your fish store is doing good with sales I'm also wondering when is the online fish store gonna be available I would like to purchase some of your fish
When will u give update on betta breeding
My khulis bask mid tank in the java fern on the wood, so take "bottom" for them to mean "they like to rest on a surface"
Congratulations

Guppy line breeding tips
Hi, I’ve been a fan of your work for almost 2 years. I must have seen all of your video like 3 times. I’ve been trying to breed my Schwartzi Corys for a couple of months now but no luck. Could you give me some advice on how to do that?
Thanks. I appreciate it.
Have always loved the look of the kuhli loach. I remember someone having a tank when I was little, and they were always getting out of the tank. They would be found shriveled up on the floor 😞 does anyone know why they would do that?
Update us on the killifish!
All the best mate just quick question have you ever cross path with Detritus white worm and if you did how can you get rid of them, cheers
Corey dorras OK for community tank?. How big they get?
What tank size is best for 6 black Venezuelan corydoras
When are you putting fish on your website?
Could you link me to the Lemon & Clementine follow up breeding video, I can’t find it.
Are Angel's a good fish too keep with Bolivians ?
I have a 3 gallon tank with a heater and filter . I have a betta . I know it’s not a big tank . I heard snail or shrimp is a good start ?
Actually shrimps handles travel and moving relatively quickly and nice,. I get my shrimps from Sweden and it’s a good 3 hours trip and they sell them in cold water so when they get into warmer temperatures in Norway they actually handle the stress well.. non of mine has died yet.. got a beautiful boy from Värmland and I’ll hope for babies as soon as he grows up
Will get them their own tank next month tho so excited
i had a tank i had emptied of fish a few weeks later went to clean it and discovered a pleco i had not gotten out still thrieving
Hey Nick, i have a question, whats the best bottom dwelling fish thats coldwater and can survive without a heater? Im planning to put it with white clouds
Can I put gbr In with Bolivian Rams? It's a 65g tank. ?
Venusalan Cory's should have got a mention for the cold water tolerance
Will you be selling the jumbo kuhli loaches on your website when it back up and running? My local fish shops only sell the smaller species and they rarely get them in.
Is it OK to have plecos with corydoras or do they compete too much for food?
I have a question not related to this video but I figured I would ask. My local fish store has 6 big angelfish that were donated to them. I can plainly see the males and females because they are older. There are golden ones with some red speckles of their top fin. Do you think if I bought the older pair I might be able to breed them? They are beautiful
NH USA
Love your videos!
Do a betta update!!!
Will kuhli louches go with shrimp ?
i really want that breeding albino cories video, im (Somehow) having trouble
Would "Glass Shrimp" be ok with Angelfish?
Hey Bro one question. Are you planning to start with saltwater aquariums ass well?
I have 1 adult platty and 2 baby platty
And 1 pictures and 2 Kory Dora
I was thinking about getting another pictus catfish. Do pictus need to fish??? because he is by himself or i was thinking about getting a loach(would a loach eat a baby platty?)
How can you tell if the Kory or male or female???
Hi!
Kinda looks like 2 different species of Kuhli in there. The stripes/Patterns tell you what sub species they are.
Those bronze corydoras looks so dorky haha! Btw, I think you meant to put 5 instead of 6 in the video title.
Kuhli's are awesome, i have them with Cory's and Shrimp, Shrimp are breeding like crazy so don't listen to the myth they can't be together.
GET SAND! both the Kuhli's and Corys are much happier in sand and mine constantly run it through their gills foor food. The Cory's came damaged without barbells (Petbarn is terrible) and they weren't regrowing in gravel, they are in sand.
Also being in Cairns i can't get my tank under 27C even with a room aircon to 24C, just how it is in the tropics, the Kuhli's and Shrimp seem very happy in that temp.
Hello, so let me open this by saying I'm new to the hobby. I have 6 Albino Cory's I bought 3 days ago. They are super fun to watch but mine keep swimming mid to high level and as a group. They go from one end to the other in their tank and then repeat. I thought these guys were bottom dwellers but mine have seem to have forgotten that. What would cause this behavior?
A couple of insights.
-Tanks a new 29 gallon with no prior cycling. (I know, I messed this up from the get. But I have been dosing with Fritz 7 and doing frequent ammonia tests/ 50% water changes when needed.)
-Tank has hardscape bit is lacking softscape atm.
-other tank mates are not bottom feeders thus they have no competition...well I have an albino bristlenose but he is super small atm and poses no issues.
- Again, I'm new at this
So what do you think is best to eat all the left over food on the bottom of my tank
