I was asking myself if just a nail would suffice to attach the top rail to the post. Thanks.

Nails are the best as they can stand movement unlike screws witch can snap Easy. ideal for wooden fencing especially that hold in livestock. I would use 2 nails on each rail in each post. Hope that helps

They come as half rounds. Also means there fully treated. Hope that helps
