Hi Everyone! I'm thinking about doing a series on the effects created by different Lumion settings, like Hyperlight, Color Correction, etc - let me know if that sounds interesting in the comments below! :)
definitely interested
Yesss! It'd be amazing
yes its really intresting ,thanks for your efforts
@@aliassalias6875i'm very interested in such a topics. best regards
Yes very interested! Thanks for all your videos and efforts.
Been watching your videos for a month now. Really helpful for a student like me. Thanks!
Happy to help!
I've been working with lumion for about a year and i had no idea lumion could make these types of renders. It's so obvious if you think about it! Thank you!
Well with the newest version it's even better because they added isometric views!
Thank you very much! I was starting all a weird process with Skp and lumion and with the video, I realized that's really easy!
Glad you found it helpful!
This is amazing! I been trying to do this and I couldn’t figure it out!
Question for you, can I used this same method for an interior elevation?
Thank you very much, this is helpful for an architect student like me and to the others, keep it up bud! FROM PHILIPPINES!
Glad it helped!
You deserve millions of subscribers.
Hi! As i see layer 1 is off, You can turn on the layer first before you put the clipping plane, it will not work when your layer is turn off when adding the clipping plane, hope this helps.
My understanding was that the clipping plane affects objects on all layers...will have to test this
Don't have money to donate to your patheon. I'm not skipping ads thou while watching your tutorials. Thank you Justin
Lol - I appreciate that :)
Mine doesnt have the eye level option how did you enabled it? I have a lumion 8.5
In lumion 8.0 , i have the same problem !
there's an effect in the fx options called "depth of field" toggle that and it will get rid of the blur
What a great man you are, Thank you Sir.!!!
So nice of you :)
Thanks for this! Very well explained
Great tutorial! Thanks!
Thank you!!! You just save my life☺

Hi!! Thank you for this tutorial. If you dont mind, may I know the specs of your pc? Thank you in advance.
Wow! It`s very nice tip! Thanks)
Glad you liked it!
Thank you👍🏻
No problem 👍
Bloody excellent
Thanks!
thank you so much.. this could've made my life a lot easier if i knew them a year earlier
:)
This is very helpful!
However, does the same work when I need to generate elevation views of a high rise building?
No idea - did you try it?
@@TheRenderingEssentials Hello, yes, I did! For a 22-storey building. And it turned out so well!
There was minor distortion, as expected, but it served its purpose, but it was barely noticeable.
Thank you so much for this video, it helped a whole lot :)
Hi..
How to change the eye level in Lumion 6?
lovely..
I don't know which version of lumion you are using, but I have lumion 6.0 and I couldn't find those settings such as eye level...etc next to the focal length, I have just the focal length bar.... Can we not do this in the lower version of lumion ?
I can't speak to what was available in Lumion 5 versions ago...
Nice tips, i have a question
Can we make a section on the elevations view? Thanks
Well with Lumion 11, you just use the new orthographic views function
@@TheRenderingEssentials thanks for the information
Hi, I have one problem . So many Spotlight creating one man image in light. How to create the light ?
Thanks
Thanks man 💖
No problem 👍
is it possible to get elevation drawings on a scale like 1:150 scale ?
No - Lumion isn't really a CAD program...
Check the layer
I use the same exact method :)
didn't try it before but can't you use the Lumion plug in in sketchup to do the exact top view or parallel view of the elevation , but thank you for the video
Don't think so - Live Sync can control your camera location, but I don't know that it will change the visual properties in Lumion if you change those properties inside of SketchUp...
@@TheRenderingEssentials ohh then nevermind, great video as usual 👏🏻👏🏻
Is it a 100% 2D ?
Hi, master
Can you do these views on twinmotion? Sorry, my English but my native language is Spanish
Hey!! Fx has been blocked by another effect ..why is it saying like that?? Plz guide me
is it possible to get it to cast shadows from the objects that have been removed by the clip plane?
I don't believe so, but I haven't tested this
What about a part wall section?
Which version of lumion did you use, sir?
I think 9.0?
Hey Justin,
I guess the section plane didn't work because you put it in Layer 1, which was turned off.
Does anyone know who we can make our drawings to scale in lumion? Please I need an answer
That's really not what Lumion is designed for...
j'ai galéré des mois pour faire ça et la( 10:40) boom ......thank so much.....
(9:25)
how would you set it to scale (1:100,1:200..)
I'd export it from my 3D rendering program
Very nice
Glad you liked it :)
Oh thanks so much nice tutorial 👏👏👏👏👏
cant make mine in floor plan view
Best!!
:)
Can we do this on lumion 8 or 6 ?
Did you try it?
yep! there's an option in fx called "depth of field" toggle that and the blur will go away
thanks you ))))
Welcome!
So elevation view is only render ,😃 I used to think it hard thing
Good job!
But unfortunately, It's not 100% accurate. You can say it's 95% 2D, but not completely.
I hope Lumion make 2Ds and make the whole software easier, there are still some works they have to do.
Lol - you're correct, it's not 100% accurate and I hope they add a setting for this in the future. That being said, I can't think of a whole lot of applications where it would NEED to be 100% accurate - I assume any actual scaleable plan exports would be in a different format anyway....
@@TheRenderingEssentials
Exactly. I sent a message to Lumion before they released version 9, but unfortunately without any answer.
We hope so ... And love your channel and respect you ❤️
Jannah Seeker is there Any News from lumion yet or a solution or work around to create 100% accurate Floor plan or elevation renders? Maybe live link these views From Revit and sketchup? These basic views can be rendered in twin motion.... we really need this in this industry...
Your videos are very Over rated... Nothing easy and special here...
Well feel free to go elsewhere - no one is stopping you...
I'm having plan on the plan view the wall 🧱 are not solid and not appearing properly
