6th tip was quite useful and saves my time during model preparation for rendering and application of materials process. Thanks a lot, it is quite helpful sir👍
After wasting about a weeks worth of time trying to use Lumion with my Sketchup models, THIS video nailed about everything I wasted time doing! I needed to waste the time to fully understand what you were talking about, but this video would have shortened my Lumion learning curve a ton! Excellent info
Thank you so much ! It’s very useful! Do you really think that these combination Sketchup +Lumion is getting more and more popular? It’s the easiest to learn and the fastest to use - for sure! Thank you a lot for your tips one more time !
I already make super crazy render setting in skecthup vray with also lighting but when come to make animation,i go to lumion and all setting gone.sir,u say we can sync material setting?.how?.thank you sir for this great knowledge
The things you do using V-Ray for SketchUp won't translate to what you want to do in Lumion. You might want to check out our Lumion course to understand the workflow for rendering your SketchUp models in Lumion. The course is part of our Video Course Library. You can learn more about our Video Course Library here: www.sketchupschool.com/video-course-library
Hi sir. You are doing a great job. I am building a rig for lumion. I am between 6900xt, 3080 ti and the Radeon pro W6800. Don’t tell me to get a 3090 is priced way high in my country. Help me plz
When picking the best PC for rendering, as you've seen, it can be a bit complicated. And while I don't have a single computer that I can quickly point you to, I can tell you how to quickly see whether the components in a computer you are looking at will perform well for 3D rendering. But first, to take a step back, the two main things will be the CPU and the GPU (a new computer will be good on all other requirements... but the speed and memory of the CPU and GPU are where the rendering performance comes from. Lumion has a good article to help you: lumion.com/blog/lumion-computer-advice-for-faster-3d-rendering.html If you look at a computer, take note of what the CPU and the GPU are. Then you can compare them to these websites to see how their performance stacks up: PassMark GPU scores: www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html Again, you don't need to know what G3D means... the higher the score the better. And what's nice is that you can see the price of that GPU to the right, so you can look for ones that rank high but are more affordable, and then seek out a computer that perhaps has that hardware inside (as a way to whittle down what computers you consider). PassMark CPU scores: www.cpubenchmark.net/high_end_cpus.html Same idea, only for the CPUs.
tip 6 is a life saver. I been using both program like 3 years from now but ı have no idea there is a thing like that. because of that my most of the works is a day render. I am on to that asap. thank you for help.
Hello sir i enjoyed the video and ur style of design but sir can i have the software i tried installing version 8 and 6 none of them work please can u recommend a site for me to download it or the software itself so i can install it in my system. I would be vaery gratefl sir thanks
You could go with either Lumion 10 or Lumion 11. To take a closer look, you can check these two links to decide whether you want to go with Lumion 10 or 11 Lumion 11: lumion.com//requirements.html Lumion 10: support.lumion.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016797220-What-kind-of-computer-does-Lumion-10-need-
Does the quality of your lumion renders depend on the type of graphics card you have. I have an nvidia gtx 1050 ti 4GB. lumion shows that it meets the minimum system requirements.
It will slow down your workflow however U can change the settings to minimum quality of editing only , but the final render is always going to be high .
No: As long as your computer meets the minimum specs to run Lumion it can create the same quality renderings as a much more powerful computer. It will just take longer for your computer to create the renderings.

I want to learn about Relative and absolute position. My imported SketchUp model is flying in the sky I know how to set it on the land with xyz but all the trees and plants don't want to follow. I am afraid some relative or absolute position blocks them. How can I change that at stage this late in a project? My building is finished all my parks and ponds are done I his want them all touching ground in Lumion 10 not floating in the air at the same time and not divide into several entities groups when I start using xyz. Can anyone help.?
No. There aren't any tools in Lumion for modeling the building or rooms. Just a library of furniture and other objects that you could add to a structure that you've built in a 3D modeling application like SketchUp.
It's a useful video. Besides that, I have been watching your channel for a while but I feel like the white background behind you in this video always makes it so tedious to watch somehow... just a personal suggestion here.

Can i use my model from sketchup free and use lumion to render it?
You can download SketchUp models from SketchUp Free and then you can import SketchUp models into Lumion.
Which version of lumion is better for Windows 10, 8gb ram , 2gb Nvidia Mx130 graphic card , i5 processor??

No. There aren't any tools in Lumion for modeling the building or rooms. Just a library of furniture and other objects that you could add to a structure that you've built in a 3D modeling application like SketchUp.
