      Without that list, I would only have known 0:41 as "Tonight We Love". Of course, there's also "A Lovers' Concerto", the Minuet in G from Anna Magdalena's notebook, and "Stranger in Paradise", from the Polovtsian Dances of Borodin from Prince Igor, and "My Reverie", Reverie by Debussy.

      Do you think that Steinway Rosewood bench has a fart suppressor unit and filter in it? These guys must be under enormous stress when entertaining the Uber rich. One false wrist or pinky move and a career could be ruined. Antacids can only help so much.

    I was listening through my cheapo laptop speakers so can't tell the difference.
    But, I've had an opportunity to lay my hands on a Shigeru Kawai EX concert grand, let alone a concert grand S&S, and may I say that the differences between these pianos are not just in the tonal qualities, but the TOUCH, too. The ability to control the sounds, the expressions, on these expensive ones are just out of this world.

      What kind of jobs people have in NYC who live like this or are they just using 80+ % of their net salary to living expenses? I would find a way to cheat system and work for 4 years eating noodles and living behind office sofa and then just put the money to grow, move the hell out and live with interest never working again.

    Absolutely!! The 2.5 mil one has that persistent white noise, seductive whispery element in every note, along with a vocal quality that none of the others have to any great degree. I once played a very fine Bechstein that had those qualities and almost cried because I could never afford a piano like that.
    That 2.5 million piano makes me tear up!

      I agree with the analysis, but I lean more toward the deep resonance the Ebony had. Not that it really matters since I couldn't afford any of them either.

    Simply spectacular sounds and sights. My favorites were the Rosewood and Ebony. Pictures sounds wonderful with you playing it, but I would have to opt for the castle in Europe

      @@spikespa5208 In Europe we do it the other way round to the US. So we use the dot as a divider between the blocks of 3 digits and the comma is equivalent to your decimal point.

    Yes, the differences can be heard. The 2.5 Million dollar piano does produce the cleanest and widest range of sound. I could live with a 200K piano though.
