This was my favorite boat at the show. There is some sail area loss and the disadvantage of being isolated on the roof sailing while the family is downstairs but for a rental boat this is the best. If you are going to Tahiti... not so much.
Do you know that for a fact Jay? I have been wondering how much difference the higher boom would make to long passages. The other side of the coin is the very exposed helms on the open. Then again, most of the time auto helm would be in control. Still iffy about it tho, in colder weather. I like a nice cosy bimini.
yea when we went to Miami show the nautitech guys told us that their self. if you speak to one of the reps for the yacht they will tell you that you will lose some performance with the fly but gain more entertainment room. like the rep said don't plan on making a lot of ocean crossing with the fly bridge. you can do it but it would not be so nice with bad weather or if you autopilot goes out (which they all do at some point). and thats would be going a lil slower than if you had the double helm
So reps think the open (as in exposed double) is better than the fly (with single in helm in Bimini/Dodger) is better for offshore passages? What cats are you considering Jay?

The interior design of this boat give one the impression that this yacht is designed to never leave the dock.
Love the plant on the bow!
Nice boat and nice song!
Trying to use new music...
Bei Euch kann schön von einem CAT träumen! Musik, no cut, no comment. Nice!
thank you so much for this been waiting to see this Cat
Thanks for watching !!!
Thanks for the nice video. At 4 min 54 sec there is another cat right infront of the nautitech 46. What model is that please?
Hope they make a Bimini for that fly bridge... be bugger to sail up there in a squall...
Excellent! Love it, will subscribe.
their. is a torrptw contender...I prefer the upper sky bridge models because it is fun to see everything as you cruise the intercoastal waterway...p
Does the height of the helm decrease the surface area of the main sail enough to make it sail at slower speeds?
the performance drops some compared to the standard version with the 2 helm station on each side below version

did you guys get video of the neels trimarans?
Not this year...sorry. Will try to film them for you in Paris in December
do you have any footage of this boat under sail?
Sorry we don't have
I owned a 2 story cat, added a new element to yachting but.. never escaped the feeling you were I a wedding cake with a stick stuck in the middle
Would you recommend it? Pros or cons? Thanks.
Why don’t Nautitech make a 461? Like the 541.
