Poppy Playtime has a SECOND UA-camr cameo, Robin Nelson. This name might not sound familiar, but he's worked with Piemations and is a frequent narrator on the Emkay channel (one of the best ones aside Jay Mick and Daminen Lee). As a result i can't take anything that Leith Pierre says seriously. The "Marcus you're losing me, maybe you just saw a bunch a peple walking by." line is by him. Admittedly hes more of a VA, but the fact that he also has done stuff on UA-cam I'd argue qualifies him as well. Another one is The Boogey Man (part of an RPGmaker horror game anthology), Manly of manlybadasshero, voices a character in one of the endings, its not difficult to tell that its him.
Everytime ProZD, Gianni Matragrano, or PM Seymour show up in a game (or anime in the latter's case) I somehow manage to forget all of them are indeed professional VAs by trade and their voice takes me out for a minute. Special shoutouts to Gabriel Ultrakill for knocking me unconscious the second I recognized his voice.
Gianni also played the main character in indie game Endoparasitic, a character who gets everything except his -left- right arm ripped off his body in the intro. Very talented VA
Don't forger Baldur's Gate 3! The Sharran tiefling Nocturne, Shadowheart's one childhood friend in the cult, is played by Abigail "PhilosophyTube" Thorn. In this case though, the cameo is less distracting than it is lovely, especially since there are some interesting parallels between actor and character
Another hilarious Game Grumps cameo is in House Party. In a video game where the entire purpose is to sleep with as many people as you can, I was not expecting Arin and Dan 😂 It’s more than just a cameo too, you use a radio to crash their hot air balloon into the backyard party you’re at. It becomes an entire quest and while it’s super distracting and doesn’t fit the tone of the game at all it made me laugh, which is definitely the developers goal with this game.
I really thought the Starfield one was going to be Damien Haas as Heller. I’d been in the game 2mins and went “HOLD ON A MINUTE” and instantly googled it 🤣

Brian David Gilbert is the only one that I genuinely enjoy. Since you like this channel you will probably like his stuff, especially the older polygon stuff.
I did the Leo Dicaprio point when I saw Starfield on the spoiler list and went "I know who's in that one!" (Was delighted to find out Dimension 20 regular Erika Ishii is also on the cast list)
This is a more obscure game and UA-camr, but Josh from Let’s game it out is a wanted man in Hydroneer. He has a habit of stealing stuff from the stores. So, they added a wanted sign for him in hopes he will turn himself in.
hearing one of my favourite youtube channels mention _and_ clip my _other_ favourite youtube channel (game grumpos), and even mention of my favourite shows, man it feels surreal XD like worlds are colliding.
Not a UA-camr, but something similar, is how tightly integrated Art Bell in the original 2006 Prey was. Basically, playing his radio show straight in universe.
Might not be the biggest UA-camrs out there, but since i watch them theyre worth mentioning. In Cook Serve Delicious 3 UA-camr Northernlion gives a speech in one of the competitions where he and his wife (LovelyMomo) not only provided announcer commentary, but talked about fellow UA-camr Baertaffy losing his hands in a Waffle Iron Incident. Its really fun for fans of those creators.
Baldur's Gate 3 has a Abigail Thorn cameo in it. That was interesting to see. And of course she's a purple tiefling in the game lol. I love her, she's great!
The cameo that was the strangest for me was in My Friendly Neighborhood when Arlo voiced the sock puppet Ricky. It took me most of my playthrough to finally figure out that it was his voice!
I'm surprised you missed an even more interesting Cameo in Subnautica. Apsro and Neebs (Who did battlefield friends) are voices in the game, and Apsro even tells you how to escape the planet.
I don’t know why, but when Andy was asked to do his catchphrase I was expecting “Alright, 5 stars! Silent Assassin!” …Yes, I’ve been rewatching too much 3 Ways To Play.
So this one is a bit more than a cameo, but the Game Grums also appear as guest characters in House Party. They have an entire quest line about them trying to get to their live show that they are missing because their hot air balloon crash landed in the wrong place, and that's not even close to being the weirdest part.
Finally Oxtra weighs in on the sexiest castlevania enemy unravelled! Man a BDG and Oxboxtra crossover is not something I knew I desperately wanted until now
JackSepticEye was also in Bendy and the Ink Machine, which was pretty surreal. Halo 3 also had an Easter Egg with the Red Vs Blue cast that was different depending on game difficulty.
They didn't give Caddicarus a part in Oddworld? I recall he recorded lines for it, was super excited about it, is friends with the director. He has Abe's marks tattooed to the backs of his hands, a fact that earned him two steak dinners, i believe?
there are 3 versions of BDG, Brian, David & Gilbert. Phil is probably a manifestation of Brian as I can't imagine him being scary or about to break into a musical/shakespearean prose
Are you sure? He's just doing his natural speaking voice, which is kinda not great. It's possible the director asked for that, but he doesn't sound professional, which is why it's so jarring.

Fun fact: They also cameo with their DBZA voices in an episode of the Dragonball anime's dub. Specifically, there's a scene where the main characters watch a play based on the Cell Games arc and the actors are voiced by TeamFourStar, reprising their DBZA roles.
Cyberpunk also featured one of the most prominent Podcaster and UA-camr from Brazil, Azhagal, from Nerdcast. His original character Ozob (the clown with a grenade replacing his nose) appeared in the game (and he voiced it on the Brazilian Portuguese dub). The character was a creation of his for a RPG session and was insanely popular with his audience.
i remember the subnatica one being announced by mark himself and everyone was extremely happy and excited, all are sound clips from old videos and it was a love letter to him for giving the game full support when it was but a single layer of spooky blue
I can't believe they didn't mention TeamFourStars own Nick Landis and Scott Frerichs who cameod in Borderlands 3, who gave the unforgettable performances of that dj/doctor and that one other guy respectively
Slightly distracting yes, but the fact that Jesse Cox and CohhCarnage got to be “burning crotch man” and a crazy hobo respectively in Cyberpunk is just too funny to me
I am not good with recognizing voices. So, this was a treat, but I like to think that when Oxboxtra make their cameo debuts I’ll recognize them immediately.
I was more distracted by Jessie Cox in cyberpunk the Alanna, though she was the reason I chose Nomad. Also BDG was also the protagonist in Kraken Academy an Indy time looping RPG where you can date a broccoli girl.
that makes me so happy to read because I remember BDG saying one if the reasons he left Polygon was because he wanted to be more involved with creating video games instead of reporting on them. I hope he gets to be a creative director on a game some day
Not for nothing but the subnautica cameo that stood out more to me was Neebs gaming... i beleave its that last quest of the game, where they come on the radio and give you the quest, while taking about getting a sandwich.... which is a returning thing on their channal and was also used in their playthrough serie back when the game was in earlie access
This video was a practice in hearing the Oxtra team say the names of youtubers I didn't know they knew about. It was surprising enough to see Ellen in a tomska video.
I'm not sure if this counts, but in the platformer A Hat in Time, the youtube star Yungtown voices the Snatcher who is encountered in the Subcon Forest area.
Neptunia Virtual Stars was a crossover no one asked for. And then there's the UA-camrs who are professional voice actors like TeamFourStar who had player character voice options for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and ProZD who has been in a handful of games.

This is exactly what I was going to say! Ellen in Cyberpunk being allowed to swear as much as she likes would be awesome XD
Thats literally alanahs hair lol
At first glance I thought it was the girl from nerdforge!
Let’s all just agree that Jesse Cox’s Cyberpunk cameo is perfect.
I was so happy when I met Phil Hill. My immersion in Starfield was already torn to shreds so I didn't mind.
I didn't know Arin was in DA: Inquisition!! I played the hell out of that game and had no idea! 😂
Also, Jacksepticeye was in Subnautica as well. I think you could get a little Sam in a jar that said "Top o' the mornin'!"
Good video, Thanks!
It was a little eyeball in a jar, and it was for those who ponied up for it early access :)
Out of that entire list, I've heard of Jacksepticeye and Markiplier but never watched them. And of course I know of Andy if you count the outro cameo.
Same. I'm so out of touch with the kids.
Same here. Except for those 2 you mentioned i know nothing about them. (I know red&blue existence and used to watch it, but i don't know who voices them until this)
@littlebear274 Rooster Teeth was founded in 2003, Achievement Hunter in 2008, and Game Grumps in 2012- all of them have been making videos as long as or longer than jacksepticeye and markiplier! So I don't think the problem there is being out of touch with the kids 😂
Same, I only heard of jack because of the BS with his react videos(AKA being a leech)
Brian David Gilbert is the only one that I genuinely enjoy. Since you like this channel you will probably like his stuff, especially the older polygon stuff.
I did the Leo Dicaprio point when I saw Starfield on the spoiler list and went "I know who's in that one!"
(Was delighted to find out Dimension 20 regular Erika Ishii is also on the cast list)
I remember Ellen popping up in background of an early Funhaus video and flipped out! Glad to see we've come full circle
I never knew about that! I knew she was a massive RT fan
Not a UA-camr, but something similar, is how tightly integrated Art Bell in the original 2006 Prey was. Basically, playing his radio show straight in universe.
Can't wait for the OX-crew to make an appearance in a game. The Hit man developers already a few references in the games.
have
@@xenogil180 They are also referenced in one of the halo novels. There's corporal Douglas, and soldiers Farrant and Channell.
@@bilbo_t_baggins2762 That is quite the feather in their cap!
I mean is it a cameo when she is an actor proper?
Bg3 also has a youtuber called CohCarnage as an NPC
If the list included YTers who are also professional performers in their day jobs, it would be less "7" and more "77."
The cameo that was the strangest for me was in My Friendly Neighborhood when Arlo voiced the sock puppet Ricky. It took me most of my playthrough to finally figure out that it was his voice!
Wow. I didn't expect to see UA-camr Andy in this one. He must have pulled some strings with his friends or coworkers to land such a spot.
I'm surprised you missed an even more interesting Cameo in Subnautica. Apsro and Neebs (Who did battlefield friends) are voices in the game, and Apsro even tells you how to escape the planet.
Yes! I love that one.
And there's a Septiceye collectable as well
I don’t know why, but when Andy was asked to do his catchphrase I was expecting “Alright, 5 stars! Silent Assassin!”
…Yes, I’ve been rewatching too much 3 Ways To Play.
I managed that lately and all I could think of was that Andy would be proud
So this one is a bit more than a cameo, but the Game Grums also appear as guest characters in House Party. They have an entire quest line about them trying to get to their live show that they are missing because their hot air balloon crash landed in the wrong place, and that's not even close to being the weirdest part.
Showing a clip of BDG's "Lay All Your Blood On Me" was an objectively correct decision that I greatly appreciate
Arin is just a voice actor. He's in plenty of things. It's like being shocked Sungwon is in something.
Finally Oxtra weighs in on the sexiest castlevania enemy unravelled! Man a BDG and Oxboxtra crossover is not something I knew I desperately wanted until now
I can't believe Halo 3 didn't make the list. I literally had to stop at the door to listen to the entire conversation.
How the hell did they get notable UA-camr ANDY for this video????
Fun fact: The guy interviewing Jack in Poppy Playtime is Robin, a narrator from the channel Emkay.
JackSepticEye was also in Bendy and the Ink Machine, which was pretty surreal.
Halo 3 also had an Easter Egg with the Red Vs Blue cast that was different depending on game difficulty.
I loved Jacks BATIM cameo
I thought he became like a major character or something.@@ajzephyros7454
They didn't give Caddicarus a part in Oddworld? I recall he recorded lines for it, was super excited about it, is friends with the director. He has Abe's marks tattooed to the backs of his hands, a fact that earned him two steak dinners, i believe?
So many cameos! Zoe and Aoife! Millionaire UA-camr Jane Douglas! AND OH MY WORD THEY GOT ANDY FARRANT TO SAY HIS CATCHPHRASE BINGOBOO WOW WHAT A VIDEO
there are 3 versions of BDG, Brian, David & Gilbert. Phil is probably a manifestation of Brian as I can't imagine him being scary or about to break into a musical/shakespearean prose
To be fair, BDG is a professional voice actor and that might be more 'his job' than a cameo. God bless his Bee Gees horror songs
Wait he is?
Are you sure? He's just doing his natural speaking voice, which is kinda not great. It's possible the director asked for that, but he doesn't sound professional, which is why it's so jarring.
@@opalescent4694 yes he is a professional VA. He mostly did extra roles but recently has been getting bigger roles. He was a variant of Ice King in the Adventure Time spinoff Fiona and Cake
@@opalescent4694There’s this magical place called IMDb
@@thebloodyaussie1458 Yeah, the Fiona and Cake one sounds like one of the few major roles that he is actually voice acting and not just... Talking in his normal cadence and voice. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that Bethesda just has really bad voice directors.
Oh man, you get my upvote just for the detailed spoiler warning. It takes me thousands of years to beat some games lol.
This gave me a flashback to the guest voice acting in _Hunt Down the Freeman_ all recorded on different gear and then slotted as is into the game. I won't thank you for that.
I'd argue that the 'most needlessly realistic horse feature' in RDR2 is the effect cold weather has on male horses.
Not necessarily immersion-breaking, but it was great hearing various members of Team Four Star land roles as gods in Smite.
Fun fact:
They also cameo with their DBZA voices in an episode of the Dragonball anime's dub.
Specifically, there's a scene where the main characters watch a play based on the Cell Games arc and the actors are voiced by TeamFourStar, reprising their DBZA roles.
@@eddmario3 of them are also in dragon ball xenoverse 2 as well when you create your own male character
"Does this mean they're in the same universe?"
I mean there was a lot of time travel RvsB, so it's not impossible.
Bold of you to assume I know ANY youtubers beside Outside Xtra and Outside Xbox!
Luke's opening line for Starfield was the perfect moment for Tim Curry's "Spice!"
Hearing Abigail in BG3 threw me. Me: *clicks on NPC* "Wait, is that PhilosophyTube?"
She's a main character in Harmony: Fall of Revelrie too
Literally just experienced this yesterday after having just watched her most recent video, was a spooky coincidence!
Turns out she an honest-to-goodness actress and is starting to get a lot of acting roles in things people have actually heard of.
Are you meaning to imply that her work on UA-cam is somehow illegitimate? @@merepseu
@@amberblackwell5614 No and I refuse to speak to your ever again for thinking that I did.
I came here just for Sean’s Turbo Leprechaun accent in Poppy Playtime and I wasn’t disappointed
i remember the subnatica one being announced by mark himself and everyone was extremely happy and excited, all are sound clips from old videos and it was a love letter to him for giving the game full support when it was but a single layer of spooky blue
Ellen laughing in the background made my day, thank you!
I can't believe they didn't mention TeamFourStars own Nick Landis and Scott Frerichs who cameod in Borderlands 3, who gave the unforgettable performances of that dj/doctor and that one other guy respectively
Slightly distracting yes, but the fact that Jesse Cox and CohhCarnage got to be “burning crotch man” and a crazy hobo respectively in Cyberpunk is just too funny to me
Not to for his role in witcher 3 as a member of a group of flatulent trolls ^^
The Starfield segment made me crawl out of my skin, holy uncanny valley Batman
Andy's trademark move/catchphrase is surely dancing around shouting "moral" or "loophole"
"Outrageous", surely.
Simply outrageous...
My first thought when I saw the thumbnail was, wait is this how I find out Ellen was in Cyberpunk?
There's also My Friendly Neighborhood, a game about puppets featuring a distinctly puppet-y UA-camr, Arlo.
Well I've got to wishlist that now
that makes me so happy to read because I remember BDG saying one if the reasons he left Polygon was because he wanted to be more involved with creating video games instead of reporting on them. I hope he gets to be a creative director on a game some day
Kinda missed out on Damien Haas from Smosh who's both in Fire Emblem and Starfield (among other things).
CIVVIE11 in Postal 4 was a brilliant addition (not really a Cameo but I had to mention it).
Holy crap I can't believe they actually landed Thee Andy Ferrent!!!!!!!
Now, that's amazing.....
Thank you for shouting out The Owl House! It’s SOOO GOOD, EVERYONE PLEASE WATCH IT
"One of the best shows that Disney has ever cancelled." Where is the lie?
Not for nothing but the subnautica cameo that stood out more to me was Neebs gaming... i beleave its that last quest of the game, where they come on the radio and give you the quest, while taking about getting a sandwich.... which is a returning thing on their channal and was also used in their playthrough serie back when the game was in earlie access
This video was a practice in hearing the Oxtra team say the names of youtubers I didn't know they knew about. It was surprising enough to see Ellen in a tomska video.
This cameo seriously turned into Andy being the normal adult man
I'm not sure if this counts, but in the platformer A Hat in Time, the youtube star Yungtown voices the Snatcher who is encountered in the Subcon Forest area.
6:37 Does this stationmaster ever wonder why we're here?
Garnt and Joey in Honkai Star Rail was a funny one. Joey tries to act and Garnt gives no effort to sound different.
Ah yes, I remember that one.
Neptunia Virtual Stars was a crossover no one asked for.
And then there's the UA-camrs who are professional voice actors like TeamFourStar who had player character voice options for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and ProZD who has been in a handful of games.
Im convinced that this is a hint that the outside team will be dropping in a future release as a voiceover cameo
I had no idea who any of these people were, and their bios explained why pretty well.
Ellen's mantis blade impersonation made my day
In the next Hitman, Andy, Jane and Mike need cameos. Come on, IO, they’ve earned it.
Well, now I need to make a game just so I can get the OX crew to do distracting cameos.
If nothing else you should look up Brian David Gilbert, he's one of the most endlessly creative people on the internet.
I wonder if BrizzyVoices' voice acting would count...
Wow, I can't believe we got to see famous UA-camr Andy and hear his catchphrase "bingo boo!" =P
I enjoyed the cameo of youtubers Aoife and Zoe :)
Jack also voiced a character in a soundtape in Bendy and the Ink Machine if I recall correctly 😊
My favorite part of this video is how I have no idea who most of these people are.
UA-cam is truly a much larger place than we can imagine.
I didn't know who any of these people were, but I hope everyone enjoyed their performances. I'm really just commenting to say that I like Starfield.
