2014 Kia Soul - Which? first drive

While the first generation Soul had the quirkiness to turn heads, an uninspiring drive and lack of refinement meant few of these onlookers dipped into their bank accounts to buy one. This second generation version looks to rectify the old car's shortcomings, while retaining a strong identity. The question is, will it encourage more buyers to purchase instead of just look?

this guy needs to do more reviews. he somehow gets all of the cold data in AND the subjective intangibles that so many other reviewers leave out. i also like that he often will stack a car up against its likely rivals. i hate watching a long review and not getting a sense of whether the reviewer liked the car or didn't like it, and what their OPINION of the car actually was. whoever this guy is, he needs to come to California and review the Tesla Model S!

No mention of the heated and cooled front seats and heated rear seats and heated steering wheel and huge panoramic sunroof? Or are these only available in the US? And does the engine make a lot of noise? Thanks

Wish the US had the 6 speed manual in the higher levels only available on the base. But still got one anyway its really a great car I still can't believe it is a KIA never would have thought I get one. But I sure did after driving one at the dealer and as a rental car.
