Though; it certainly could be said that the man attracted a fair few supporters entirely on his own merits. Gojo's main role was forcing the old bastards to use underhand methods to assassinate him, hence they completely dispensed with any pleasantries the moment Gojo was out of the way.

Okay now we can rest. Nobara is in fact not coming back with a resonance on the last finger. With Megumi also not wanting to be saved, it really seems like the manga will end with just Yuuji as the last of the main trio.
And this probably confirms Gojo's status now actually dead since his students definitely have the chance to take down Sukuna now. Even though that doesn't make them stronger than Gojo individually, but if they defeated Sukuna, that's mean they surpassed Gojo in terms of achievements, which is something that Gojo will be proud of

Lasuli tysm! I was so stoked to see Maki finally! And as far as Nobara I've been seeing a lot of people give up hope because of the 20th finger thing, but that really doesn't move the needle for me. Her using her technique on the finger would obviously be a hype moment, but I don't think that NEEDED to happen for her to come back, plus like you mentioned there's still that hand sitting out there that could be used for the exact same thing. All the unanswered ambiguity around her situation still remains, so until we get some sort of conclusion there, the possibility of a Nobara comeback remains imo.
Unfortunately, I think Sukuna is more ready for a fight with Maki then we realize. He has Megumi's memories of fighting Toji.
Yuji gave up in his fight against Mahito when Nobara and Nanami died. Megumi lost Nobara and his sister (by his own hands), which is much more impactful. Not to mention he was drowned with the bath. Plus Yuji is known to have a stronger will than Megumi.

The boys had planned basically everything perfectly in order to get Megumi out, they knew Sukuna would try and tank Jacobs ladder and go in for a space cleave. They orchestrated that shit to the letter.
I can see Yuta planting the thought about the finger in Sukuna’s head to get him thinking he ate it, when it could’ve been Yuji.
Remember Yuta said himself that Yuji would be the one to down Sukuna so making Sukuna think he ate the finger may draw Sukuna’s attention away from Yuji in a worst case critical scenario. Or to keep the fact that Yuji can use Sukuna’s own moves under wraps for a worst case last ditch scenario.
I mean Yuji’s saying this was their only shot at taking down Sukuna, yet they had Maki waiting in the wings? Something ain’t adding up there.
I think it’s entirely possible they have 1 last card to play in case they failed to split Megumi from Sukuna the first time.
Like perfect plan A was getting Megumi out and Maki won’t be needed, and now Plan B could involve Maki buying time for Yuji to bounce back, Maki will fall short and Sukuna will look to eat Yuta to get the power from his finger and that time will buy Yuji a chance to catch him off guard with a cleave out of nowhere.

Did anyone else notice how yuta switched rings from his middle to his ring finger right after he cut off sukuna arm. That sword was Charles technique so he saw it coming.
Thinking about when Sukuna took over Megumi's body, I believe non of this would have happened if he wasn't such an emo idiot. Instead of wasting time chanting to summon Mahoraga, he should have tried to fight Sukuna with his other techniques and his domain. He probably could have stalled Sukuna long enough for the binding vow to be fulfilled and Sukuna would have lost his control over Yuji after a minute. I know no one knew about that vow, but I'm pretty sure that if Megumi had the balls to fight instead of k*llhimself with Mahoraga, he would had a chance with Angel's help, specially because Sukuna wasn't allowed to hurt anyone during that time. Now, everyone are risking their lives to rescue him and the idiot doesn't even bother to respond.

I couldnt be as hyped for Maki showing up because I legit was so saddened by the hit Yuta got struck with

Gojo could still heal but when he was hit with the slash it was all over, i feel like if you get hit with it its like a hollow purple in slash form it just erases wherever you got hit beyond easy repair

so although im glad with Maki showing up I just dont know where the story can go from here cause either that twist means very little (Yuta and Yuji heal) or they straight up die now or later on in which case personally that just upsets me so much i couldnt have as much fun with the final reveal
