Sarmale - are these cabbage meat filled roles also wrapped in vine leaves as depicted in Romania? I am visiting Romania later this year so I want an authentic experience.
You can have them in cabbage leaves, or in wine leaves, or even in other kind of leaves. But usually in restaurants you have the cabbage ones, I only had sarmale in vine leaves in a restaurant in a seaside resort.
