I’m a Clemson fan and I was pulling for coach O all year. I hope that we see two tiger teams get to play each other. Coach O is a class act. Merry Christmas and God Bless. Go Tigers and Geaux Tigers 🐅. I’m also from the mountains near Clemson and we talk a little funny around these parts too. We’re hillbillies and y’all are our Cajun brothers.

Coach O deserves everything he has gotten in life. I used to live in the same neighborhood as coach, see him around town and is always happy to talk. He is a role model in the community and an example for young men to look up too.

@Brandon Langley I like Oklahoma .. We did make it to the Natl Champ game that year for the 5th time in 8 yrs... We lost and had to wait 13 more years to win another title.. I guess we will see how much longer we will have to wait..
LSU and Oklahoma have been waiting 18 or 19 years so we will see if either team can win it...
I just think that right now its hard to argue against LSU not being the best team in college football.. They have played a toughest schedule of the 4 teams so Oklahoma is going to have to step it up times 5.. Lincoln is going to be a great coach... Its a good thing he's young.. Oklahoma has very good upside..
I'm 66 years old. I was a USC Football fan from the time I was 7 years old. The ups the downs you expect being a long term fan. When USC passed over Ed Orgeron as coach I gave up on them. I couldn't be happier for Ed, he simply got the opportunity he earned. LSU is very lucky to have Ed as their coach and a lot smarter than USC.
For real? U think he is a that great? Let me break it down. 1) he nearly got fired 2x. LSU made him hire another offensive coach. His expertise is defense however their D is atrocious. LSU struck gold with a 23 year old QB and an NFL QB coach, but don't get it confused because coach O has zero to do with that side of the ball.
Kenny Powers that “atrocious” D was the best in the country by the time the season ended. And his expertise is also recruiting. Stuff: learn it.

I’ve been a coach O fan since I was in high school. I knew if he came to LSU we’d be great at recruiting and likely win quite a few championships. He’s a perfect fit for LSU. He’s going to be the best coach we’ve ever had.
Joshua Howard don’t put the cart before the horse the winner of the peach bowl only wins a game against 1 of the two best defenses we have seen in college in a while. You don’t want thst to be against a Brent vendables couched defense he know how to kill a passing offense for sure& LSU is basically a pure passing team Unlike osu or ou who are balanced offenses
Charles Adams lol LSU spreads to run and their ran game has been legit since the Florida game. They ran all over Auburn’s front 7. Georgia has a GREAT run defense , so they kept LSU honest but the passing game is the real deal. I would be mainly concerned with Clemson. I don’t think OSU is going to win that game. Just my opinion. Clemson is not a team you want to play, especially considering how fresh their players are and the GREAT coaching staff . But honestly it’s gonna be really hard for LSU to win the National Championship without Clyde Edwards-Helaire. That guy was literally the run game at times , making people miss in the back field and breaking multiple tackles.

that's what USC has been missing, discipline and fundamental coach, USC really hasn't been the same since 2006 Rose Bowl and I was in the 6th grade at the time lol so there's been a losing streak for awhile. Coach O is a great coach and actually dominating the SEC right but it's a shame USC can't be a top 10 team.

The meeting he had with the players after he knew he wasn’t going to be the HC was epic by all reports.
There is no coach more suited for his job at his school than Coach O.

Boomer Sooner, this is a nice test to see just how far our defense has come, unfortunately I dont think OU has the offense either this year to win. I really like Burreax and Coach O though, I always knew USC made a huge mistake.
As an OU fan I have to give mad props to Coach O and his awesome QB Joe Burrows! Honestly if my Sooners lose to you guys I’ll be sad but I’ll be content because LSU has done nothing but work hard all season! Can’t wait for the 28th for two great programs with two great coaches to go play!

If you ever spend any time in south Louisiana you will see a lot of similarities in our cultures. Texas and south Louisiana are both hard working people with strong family ties.
It's one reason the island guys like it up here. We can be a little clannish with our families, but neighbors are family too.

Hunter 4net yea he’s a playmaker. He’s also an elite elite runner for a freshman. Hopefully he slides into that slot role for Justin Jefferson when he’s gone next season. (Pretty sure Jefferson’s draft stock is too high to come back with Joe Burrow leaving as well) Palmer would EAT in that role that Jefferson plays.
I’m not saying Devonta Lee will be exactly like Dez Bryant but that kid has a lot of similarities to Dez Bryant’s game , especially the way he bullies DBs, and he’s built a lot like him. I’m so excited about all these young players. As well as the ones coming in the 2020 class

Oklahoma is the first team LSU has played that averages just about the same amount of yards and points as them and gives up just about as many points and ysrds on defense idk if we cot have asked for two games with teams so closely matched Of course the point spread has LSU favored by 14 points but people need to know that’s only to get money put on both team’s I would actually expect thdt number to increase or decrease by kick off depending on which team is receiving Td kodt bets, but only a stupid person would bet LSU -14. Last year ou gave Bama who was a 13.5 point favorite a 28 point lead in the first 5 minutes and bama couldn’t increase it & only win by 1 If this is more than a 1 score game I would be surprised but I would not be surprised if it was a over time game, I would expect to see ou ru the ball the second half if it’s just a 1 score game and play the clock to try to take the lead with as little time remaining as possible
