    The tom and sub add a lot to the groove. Feel like you could use this technique with more tech house type grooves as well

    The low end always a struggle - how many layers to the BASS? How long/short shoud the notes be?
    I searched around in your channel but didnt find a sidechain tutorial. Do you have or can you make one?
    Thank you again! 🔥

    I've been looking for this explanation for months! Amazing. Thank you!
    Would love if you follow this up with any overall mix processing on the whole low end that complements what's presented here? (saturation? compression? any mastering (eq/compression) chain tweaks?)

    The discussion at 9:20 leads to the philosophical debate of if all producers sample kicks, did to the kick or the producer come first?

    the relation between kick and bass is a bitch to mix, but i dont agree by ripping kicks from tracks, it s not that hard to shape and layer a kick into a desired tone, anyway as you showcased the most importat thing is volume.

    • @martti7363
      @martti7363 2 роки тому +4

      Sampling kicks is an established tradition in house music. Not sure why you would disagree with a technique, it’s all fair game. Making your own kicks is cool too.
