This was great tito, I didn’t know the touch up paint could be built up like that and then sanded out. It’s essentially like a bondo filler alternative for diy projects for smaller spots of rust like that. Thank you from Canada as well!
Thanks for the comment (SALAMAT) , You don't need bondo to build up surface on a small spot, you can just build up the touch up paint and sand smooth. Thanks for the comment!!!👍
Thanks for the reassurance that a dremel is the perfect tool for small stone chips that are turning to rust. I have 3 small spots on my 1990 Volvo 740 wagon. It’s white so I will need to tackle these asap so it doesn’t get any worse! Thanks again for the video 👍

Thank you for the detailed video 👌🏽 Would it benefit the results to use rust convertor/dissolver/whatever anti-rust agent available on the market? If so, when?
if you have anti-rust, apply it after sanding & before touch up paint, make sure the anti-rust is completely dry to touch before applying touch up paint. More DIY & Mods coming soon, Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE and Thanks for watching!!!👍

Hi, Can you please advise, when doing touch up paint, how long do I have to wait before applying the clear coat, does it need to applied the next day or can I wait 7 days?
Great video friend, i have a very tiny rust spot on my 2017 ice silver Seat Leon, against that colour it is noticeable but of course i want to fix before it spreads. Ive ordered a cheaper alternative to the dremel with a similar bit you used. Im a little worried about doing it, mainly sanding the surface but your video has been very helpful, thanks.

Shano, Yes you can do it without the Dremel, Just take out the rust spot with a very small sandpaper, The good thing about the Dremel is that you can remove the rust spot on a very small location. Hope this helps you. More DIY & Mods coming soon, Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE and Thanks for watching!!!👍
I saw some other brands at Walmart. Will they work the same as the Dremel or would you recommend this brand better? Also, I’ve seen some people just use the Dremel & apply the paint right after..is this ok or should you apply a primer first?
Ro-lando Calrissian, Yes other brand also works fine, It does the same job, But I just prefer the Dremel because of the build quality and speed adjustability. Touch up paint are made to apply directly to bare metal of the part of the car even without primer, It's instant protection to prevent rust. You can also apply primer before the paint if you want extra protection. More DIY & Mods coming soon, Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE and Thanks for watching!!!👍
I just tried to fix my MazdaSpeed3 and after touching up the paint with a pen, the paint just came right off when I sanded it. I used rubbing alcohol and the rest of the paint just came off. Should I be using something OTHER than the paint pen from the dealership?
Touch up paint from dealers are designed to protect stone chips, Just do multiple coats of touch up to prevent it from coming off, always wait for the paint to dry before applying another coat. More DIY & Mods coming soon, Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE and Thanks for watching!!!👍
