- The off-road American icon gets very extensive changes for 2024. The revised #JeepWrangler returns with a few new trims, including a first-ever #WranglerRubiconX trim which combines the off-road capability with some added luxury features. The #Wrangler4xe also returns with a new entry-level Sport S trim, bringing the price of entry down by about $5,000. The new #Wrangler goes on sale later this summer.

$90k Geesh, everything is going up except for my pay. Nice vehicles.
Right, you basically have to make six figures to afford a JEEP WRANGLER. I make decent money, I'm single with no costly vises but I can afford this unless I want to camp next to it basically
Gotta spread the EV development costs around. ICE vehicles are gonna help pay for it until EVs can build at scale and their prices fall. Ford reported that won’t happen until sometime after 2030. I expect this trend to continue on these SUVs and trucks.
@@kychristell1779six figures and no kids live with parents
Because idiots keep buying them at ridiculous prices but say everything is fine lol...
I agree with you all. It’s ridiculous. I mean ridiculous
Your review was by far the best compared to the other reviews I've seen of the 2024 models. You covered absolutely everything!
It’s so good to watch a review that comes from someone who really has real world experience with these models and is clear and knowledgeable. Loved it.
Ok, wow....we rented a jeep for our MOAB trip and we were bit! We've wanted a Jeep forever, and having one for a trip like that (we have a motorhome) really expanded what we could do, see, enjoy on that trip. I can't tell you how many times I had to stop and rewind the video to get the points your were making. You are well versed and you speak faster than my fast talking family (compliment ;) !) Brilliant review! Thanks so much for all of your efforts. In particular, your love for the V8 rumble was contagious, and hilarious!
"Butt clinching" 🤣
I have always been in love with Jeep Wrangler because of its off-road capabilities. This vehicle always looks stunning and rigged. It has so many features and toughness everyone loves this car. The wheels look amazing and the design is bold and beautiful. A perfect vehicle for camping, off-roading, and family trips.
Great review!!! Loved the detail.
Does it come with a solid gold brick in the glovebox? $90k no way.
Lol ok scrub
@@phillipmier2589huh? 90k is crazy for a Wrangler
@@aidananchaya its barely worth 50k only scrubs buys these fix or repair shitters
@@phillipmier2589 Lmao, rich talk coming from a guy typing from his moms basement 😂
90k is a joke for this.
Excellent review! Can’t wait to get my Rubicon X!
The 2024 wrangler in my opinion looks cooler than any bronco, land rover and g class in the market. Jeep nailed this one. A tactical design update of the wrangler is the way to go. The 2023 wrangler grille design is also cool but this new 2024 grille design is a great option.
I have to disagree. It looks pretty much the same as the prior versions. Still looks cool in my opinion, but I would rate on the lower side of the scale comparing with Bronco, G Wagon and Defender. But everyone has different taste. SO all cool
@@RICARDOABECH I agree it all comes down to preference. I never really liked the look of the Gwagon from the start. long time ago before the Gwagon became very famous in the internet I was always wondering why that car was so popular and the moment I saw its price and specs my view of the car slightly changed.
For me the design is not that good but the main selling point are the spacings of the components and factory paint. Mercedes is one of those companies who take spacings in doors, hoods and grilles very seriously. That they probably have a specialist that inspects spacing in the last line of production.
American cars on the other hand are on the worst side next to japanese. They dont bother too much about it and also the factory paint is not that good.
But how about gas mileage? Does it even come close to those new Hybrids RA4 Toyota? You can do 450-500 miles on a full tank of gas with a new Toyota so nothing beats that so far. 😅
@@blasblasblas2094 Jeep wrangler has a 4xe version and by paper has significantly better mileage when using combined than the 2024 rav4 hybrid.
And respectfully I dont consider the Rav4 in the class of these vehicles. The Rav4 is more like a Honda CRV and Grand Cherokee class.
The Rav4 is still great. Toyota makes one of the most reliable cars.
@@johndc7446 I have been a Toyota buyer for the last 30 years and love every single one of them( the most reliable car out in the street) which gives me a piece of mind when traveling long distances. Only have to change oil every three or four months. I also had a brand new American truck( F150) for only a few years but had to sell it due to the high gas price and other reasons.
Brilliant review, as always. 😊 I will say, however, that as the driver of the vehicle, I do not actually care whether my back seat passengers can recline. The type of people buying a Wrangler probably won't care either. Still love what you do tho'. 👍
Amazing Review!!! Great Job Congrats!!
Thanks for the great content
Great review!! Thorough and very informative. Do you know if one can get the automatic transmission on the 6 cylinder engine in non Rubicon trims? somehow the JEEP site does not allow that configuration. I.e. a 2024 Willy's with the pentastar and auto tranny not an available online config... I have driven several 2.0 models and the engine sound is not "pleasing" - I'll behave and leave the 2.0 comment at that :)
Now with locking sounds on the doors.. it’s officially.. “The Affordable G Wagon” 😂
I absolutely love your videos. You make the best in depth content. Keep doing what you're doing brother. Im thinking about trading my 2020 JLU Rubicon for a 2024 392
any idea of the gear ratio in the JL willys 2024 ?
and what about the front axle , dose it have dana 44 in the front ?
Like the new screen! Everything else just keeps the good times rolling.
Good review. Thanks.
It looks good. They are realizing they have to compete with bronco. Like those shorts were did you get them? Keep up the excellent reviews!!!😊👍
They really need to bring that V6 up to 300 hp or more and price is insane!
4-door model looks so much better than the 2 door model
Absolutely love my 2024 Rubicon Extreme Recon! 😍
Its amazing how big the wrangler is now ,
Hey redline I have a question about your videos because whenever they first release and I try to watch them they freeze and lag and I have to wait a few hours to watch them for it to work just wanted to know if its on my side or your side.
Hi ! What is the color code of the Rubicon 4XE 😍😍😍 at the video's beggining ? Thank you
It would nice if you can test out their new noise reduction features...
Its amazing how big the wrangler is now
Now that I’m doing a little bit more offloading, I have been considering getting a jeep Rubicon trading in my 4Runner. However, with the integration of the antenna into the windshield, that is something I struggle with. I do like the option of the wedge, being a factory or dealer install, assuming all the wiring is tidy. But that windshield thing, considering just the mild off Roading I’ve been doing and looking to do more extreme trails. I’ve already replaced my windshield once in a year, add some of my buddies that have gladiators and unlimited’s average plays in their windshield once a year.
If you end up buying one you should consider getting a Windshield Protection Package. You can change 3 windshields for price of 1. Just check with you sales person for the exact cost.
Friends, does anyone know if this is true or not? That before 2016 Pentastar 3.6 was problematic and was not reliable and not durable and also had less resources. (It had a low lifespan) However, since 2016, they say that it was fixed and now it is a new and good motor. Is this true or not??
@johnreno8909 for the most part yes. One of the most reliable engines right now.
They’re charging $2000 for a winch that cost $1400. And its only an 8000 pound winch. Should be 10,000 pounds minimum.
All car companies are in bussnies to make money
It’s true but that $600 difference is profit, cost to ensure it can be warrantable and they’ll fix it when it brakes, cost to test and ensure it’s safe. Actually a great deal.
@@Mtntime every warn winch has warranty for 7 years. If Jeep barely comes through with warranty for basic issues . I doubt they’ll care to fix a winch that isn’t manufactured by themselves. It’s honestly sad they chose to use 8000 pound winch. The jeep weighs close to 5k pounds or even more. That winch isn’t gonna be so reliable for the weight of the Jeep
It’s got a warranty 😅
@@ned8249 yeah… I bought a warn winch as well and guess what… it has a warranty as well AND can pull 10,000 pounds and was $600 cheaper
The fact this exists is amazing
great review
These have to be the best wrangler ever made. They have never been good enough to be pavement princess but off road they are beasts. These new models with the hybrid system makes them great city cars.
do the seats have a memory option?
Love Jeep Wrangler Rubicon😍 Wonderful Car💯🙌. Gonna have it.
I might have missed it, but does Sofyan still own the 4xe? Is the 2024 model that much of an upgrade in refinement? Compare having a cell phone call on a highway in a 2024 4xe versus a new Defender.... is it close?
Your reviews always focus on the details. Especially the ones I care about.
I have the plan to book it during October
For those commenting about the prices, its a practice called "Price over Volume" and its common. Instead of the old model of selling more stuff, now it's sell less, but sell it for more money. US automakers have been doing this for years but post pandemic have began phasing out low cost models and focusing on the higher end. Americans tend to "buy up" instead of down and are more willing to go into debt for things they want. Auto makers charge these prices because they can, knowing people will still buy. Why bother with more customers when you can have fewer and still make more money. Sometimes this backfires, but its a safe assumption the days of more affordable vehicles, many goods actually, is over. Once prices go up, its rare they ever go back down.
It looks just like the previous generations of the Wrangler, but it looks more better 😉 and more added features to give it a bit more detail.
Sold my 2020 gladiator thinking about getting back into a jeep but Damm the prices are just so high now.
I have a 2021 High Altitude 4XE and the only thing that comes to mind is the song “I’m in love with my car” by Queen!
Do all the hinges rust in 2 years or less?
🎊👏😁👏🎊Great video Sofyan and Rob😎,Thank You both🎊👏🤩👏🎊!!!
$90k, come on…..looks like the average wrangler (body wise) I love wrangler and own a 2012 unlimited but will never spend over $40k on a wrangler.
Cool toy. Not $90K cool, but cool 😎
How does the blind spot monitoring work with the doors off? I always wondered
the blind spot sensor is integrated into the rear tail lights. I think if you have the doors off though, the sensors just turn off.
I can't wait to see what the new Land cruiser and GX brings. But this Jeep Wrangler is so cool.
Are they going to offer the
35 inch wheel package with a “Manual Transmission” from the factory!
"as you guys can saw" 🤣🤣🤣 at 34:02
That's a bad ass Jeep! I like it, NO, I LOVE IT!
Great review also all 2024 Rubicons will have a full float rear axle
Except : the hybrid,4xe and 392
15:34 What company's product is the pipe door?
It doesn't look like you can order the 35 in Recon Package on the Rubicon for 2024. Is that right??
Anyone else hear the dude in the passenger seat lay a FART at 30:54?? Hilarious!!
Very good JEEP WRANGLER❤
Yeah, sounds good bro!
Respectfully the show stopper is NOT the 12” screen. It’s the 392, front / rear lockers and winch. Nice job on the review.
Very nice this quality próven JEEP WRANGLE❤
Small goof at 33:24, the 4xe is not 4.7 seconds 0-60. But we know you meant 392.
Love it!
A bit confused. The Rubicon X has a 392 engine and it’s also a plug in hybrid?
Hi sir, is the Rubicon X 2024 gonna be available in the Philippines? 😬
Calidad y humildad
A $90K wrangler... never thought I'd see this in my lifetime. Wow.
Question!
Is this hybrid ?
this new fully floating axle on new 2024 rubicon-x is for rear only or for both rear and front axles???
Only the rear axle and it is an option you have to ask for.
@@vigilantemotors but for x-trim is standard wright???
As far I know, no it is not. You would have to get the Rubicon to get that option unfortunately. @@johnreno8909
Which trim/color comes with the red seats? When I build a Rubicon X online, it shows black leather seats.
392
Modern "electronic throttle override" prevents the engine from revving while the brake pedal is pressed. Brake-torquing? What is it you think you're doing?
The only issue with me is the cost of it. Yes, I know comparable vehicles are expensive too…. But let’s say someone is cross shopping a wrangler with a 4Runner. The 4Runner (currently) is more dated, but ride refinement is comparable in my opinion. But spending $50k on a 4Runner, a person knows it’s going to go for 300k miles easily with only oil changes. Spending it on a car with potentially less reliability is a kicker to me. Especially if the price goes to $60-70-80.
This supposed to be a 2024 Rubicon X revie2 but why am i seeing the 392 trim?
I believe the winch package is $3k not $2k, and it comes with steel front and rear bumper, would be a great deal for 10-12k warm instead of that little 8k!
8000 lb winch is too weak and too expensive.
You can get a nylon 10000lb smitty built that fits perfect for much less money
The winch option is $1995
I have a 2022 Rubicon, I just added a bronco to my collection there is no comparison. Bronco is amazing, granted I have had for a few months but still it’s amazing. Jeep is going to need up their game.
Not serious off road though. Jeep is still way ahead. Has vastly better suspension articulation and ruggedness. But most casual trail goers will probably like the Bronco better.
Had a ‘21 Rubicon after 15 years of Jeeps. Traded it in for a Bronco. Yeah it is better.
damn where do yall be working at💀 nigga got a rubicon and now a bronco
The Jeep is still the Bronco recovery vehicle of choice. Have seen many many videos of obstacles that Broncos nearly tip over on get easily cleared by every jeep that tried it. Have fun with your IFS & 2 wheels in the air. Also, I don’t know how Ford managed to make the Bronco slower than a Jeep but they friggin did it. Brilliant.
Nice jeeps !
I was into it until you said $90,000 price tag
Just saw your video, can you answer why the V-6 and 4 Turbo for 2024 are rated at 5000 lbs towing, while the V-8 392 and hybrid both have much more power but are still rating 3500 lbs towing? Thank you.
Rear axles were upgraded

it's absolutely fantastic. the only 2 things are really heartbreaking: those two things are: 1. no 360-cam. and 2. horrible second row seats. especially the back of the seat of the second row absolutely horrible. I mean specifically the recline position of the back of the seat just 6-inches more recline would make those seats absolutely normal for just 15cm would make it totally different story.
I can´t believe jeep still do not includes 360 cam, it helps a lot in the city and off road, should be a must.
@@MrElmasdiablo absolutely 100% agree,. i am really surprised because of that. rear seats and cam. especially when they already knew that bronco had it. and it was not that difficult to resolve this problem.
100% agree
Back seats not reclinable? 😢
I am getting mix info. Have Jeep confirmed that the 4xe Rubicon which come with the Full-Float Rear Axle can't tow 5000 lbs?
Only the 2.0 & 3.6 Rubicons have the Full Float Axle. 4XE and 392 do not !!!
ua-cam.com/video/0ujZ-4VL6Tw/v-deo.html
Their website says "This stronger, more robust full-float construction enables a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds. Standard on all Rubicon models." I'm assuming that is including the 4xe Rubicon but not 100% sure.
No, the Rubicon 4xe and Rubicon 392 cannot tow 5,000 lbs, they max out at 3,500 due to the increased weight of those powertrains.
There is nothing special about a Jeep. It's simply a Jeep.
Yeah but they're trying to be a wannabe Mercedes G wagon lol, because when I think luxury I definitely think damn I want a jeep ...this definitely is an alternate reality
I think it was a mistake to integrate the antenna in the windshield. Makes windshield replacements that much more expensive. I fixed the mast on my '23 Wrangler 4xe with a $12 rubber stubby antenna. Noticed they took out the nice 4 way LED interior lighting module that is on the speaker bar.
Windshield coverage isn’t expensive through insurance. Every new car has a $1000+ windshield it seems!
@@husky2423 if I owned a 2024 and my windshield got busted I would opt for a standard windshield... who listens to terrestrial radio anyway?
I agree. They should've left it where it was.
@@husky2423 this replacement windshield is $4,200. confirmed with dealer.
Funny how he says the "dash has been fully redesigned to incorporate the bigger 12.3 inch display". Looks more like they glommed it onto the dash. Not "incorporated" at all, unless that means "moved the air registers". I truly hate how larger and larger screens have become the design trend for modern automobiles and how they are so large they have to attach them to the dash vs incorporate them into the dash.
I can easily afford this jeep but I would never pay $90k for a stock Wrangler
11:05 ventilated seats would be a nightmare getting wet and with dirt particles. Not practical at all lol
I love Utah
I Aldo think this will be a worldwide seller!
Why everyone is saying door buttons are at the middle cause you can remove the doors !! Why would i need the buttons if the door is removed !! I think its to improve water resistance
Totally random but i did see a wrangler with the hell cat. Someone in the comments said you can pass anything but a gas station 😂
There is no roll bar on the Jeep. That’s just for the overhead speakers.
That price is wild but it's ok tho when they only sell 50 of them... they'll figure it out
Why can’t you put 35 size tires on 4xe
Is this diesel?
It seems no matter if you get the 4 turbo non hybrid OR the V6 they burn the same fuel
He couldn't see going over that hill .
I thought the x came with the front camera?
Why put the antenna in the window? That’s a expensive solution to the aftermarket’s cheaper stubby antenna. Otherwise great job Jeep.
They always shoot Jeep videos in remote locations when parking over a curb is the wildest maneuver most Rubicon drivers will ever do.
Not so remote. I see paved road about 50 ft away.
I’m waiting for the rear view mirror camera and heated and cooled front and rear seats. Come on Jeep don’t be cheap.
Still don't see why we can't have a v8 matched with a hybrid system, it would be more powerful and yet more efficient, and we still get the v8 sound
If you get the V8 you don't care for efficiency
If i was in the market for one of these, I'd put 10k into my 2004 Tahoe and save 80k 🤦♂️
