Chimps With ONLY Druids Is FINALLY Possible! (Bloons TD 6)

The Tier 5 Avatar of Wrath Druid in BTD6 is one of the best towers in the game, but it lacks one very important feature - camo detection. Well with some recent changes that is no longer an issue as Obyn, the Druid buffing hero now gives camo to all Druids, so let's see if this is going to change things in this Chimps run in Bloons TD 6!

I feel not enough people give top path the respect it deserves these days. Ball lightning has gotten some pretty crazy buffs, that it now does a similar job to the jungle's bounty, more effectively vs clumps, but without a true global.

I got my black medal on Pat's Pond recently using the Obyn+Druid strategy, however I needed support from a MOAB press and a First Strike Sub in order to make it reliably work.

Maybe, i never do this challenge, but if what you need is only the camo detecting and not the buff, then etienne technically are possible, and even if you can't do it with etienne, geraldo can definitely fill that spot.

I did not know this. Obyn has always been my favorite until better heroes appeared. That's what you call power creep. Obyn needed this buff very much.

I've run druid only too and I found a mix of hard thorn and thorn swarm is best. We do need to crack DDT and such, but thorn swarm on Avatar is so much more DPS at close range

Obyn buff idea: wolf spirits(main attack projectile) can hit camo bloons, however Obyn can’t see camos so he will not attack unless there’s a non camo bloon in range

Tbf obyn doesn’t do much damage so giving himself camo wouldn’t help that much. Plus the tree already affects camo bloons.

Why do many go with the x1x path instead of he 2xx when going with the bottom path? Isn't the ability to pop all bloons and chained attacks better than an extra thorn?

in normal runs usually people are using alch buff, since alch buff work better with more projectiles so the 015 crosspath is kinda better

but if group bloons, 205 is probably better since it has a lot of pierce and aoe dmg from lightning

Alright, I am back @@NormalWeeb., and yeah, you were right abour the 010. It is a smidgen better for single target than the 200, but when its all about crowd control its a beast the 200. So I guess I will continue using the 200 since aside from boss events the 010 doesn't seem as helpful...

This isnt druid only, hes using obyn. Sure, you can consider him a druid, but it isnt really druid only if you aren't only using the druid tower.

i may be a bit nitpicky, but i consider the use of a hero to no longer make it count as druid 'only' (instead being "druids and obyn strategy is easier to pull off now")
and with 3 subs on logs i managed to beat chimps, the only true "only 1 tower type" chimps as far as i know, no heroes no non submarine towers, not even a tier 4 in the 4th water spot, just all 3 tier 5's once each (5-2-0, 0-5-2 and 0-2-5, as intell does nothing without non sub towers so the barbed darts or twin guns are better crosspath)
i wonder if you can do sub only 3tc as well, and what other towers (if any) can also pull off a 3tc
