Spanish-Language Holocaust Survivor Talk: Louise Lerner

Louise Lerner nació en París, Francia en 1938. Cuando estalló la guerra y los Alemanes invadieron París, su familia huyó al Sur a Toulouse, que estaba en Vichy Francia. Más tarde, su familia huyó a la neutral Suiza, donde pasaron el resto de la guerra. De toda su familia extendida, solo un tío sobrevivió. Después de la guerra, Louise vivió en Israel, Argentina y Jamaica. Se mudó a los Estados Unidos en 2018.
Louise Lerner was born in Paris, France in 1938. When Nazi Germany invaded Paris, her family fled to Toulouse in Vichy France. Her father served in the French army and was a prisoner of war for five years. Louise fled to neutral Switzerland with her brother and mother, where they spent the rest of the war. Most of Louise's extended family perished during the Holocaust. After the war, she lived in France, Argentina, Israel and Jamaica before moving to the United States in 2018.
