I think its in Predz own best interest if we limit him to always taking sunday driver.
Sunday driver just means you crash slower
Because you will crash guaranteed
Also it takes away your ability to get out of zombie hordes in a car
U know it was intense when predz dont even have time to grab a hat (and crash car achieved ) 😂😂😂
This is my greatest fear in zombie games… I hate having the thought that at any moment there could be any number of zombies just coming for me and I’m completely oblivious
You wouldn't be oblivious with this mod though, you know exactly when the zombies are coming for you because it pings.
The music is weirdly chill for what must be one of the most stressful project zomboid challenges I've ever seen...
Damn this is brutal lol Reminds me a bit of the "Please Dont Feed The Zombies" mod where zombies are attracted to zombies you kill. The draw distance is pretty far, and the more zombies you kill in an area, the more zombies are attracted. A bit more controllable than the mod youre using, but still pretty brutal.
I downloaded that mod for the zombies eating other corpses and thought it would be immersive. It got pretty annoying after I killed 2 zombies and slept, just to wake up to 30 zombies outside my door.

lol pretty much the same with me. Thought it might be neat for a challenge run for Predz, but not for a casual playthrough.
@@SvendleBerries ive been running that mod for months with edited settings. i finally got rid of it recently because I finally relented on the fact that it just isn't that flexible to play. wherever you fight and leave enough bodies turns into a pit of ever-reinforcing zombie death until your forced to retreat, or they eat all the bodies. it makes trying to take and hold any location impossible unless you also have the means to burn, bury, container hide, or delete zombies en masse. as scary as this one is, you could hold a location. you'd eventually run out of zombies within ping distance, while "please don't feed..." will pull zombies from all over the map to the location in question, functionally having you eventually fighting all of zombie kentucky.
I have a personal goal to try and take and hold Raven creek. for my playstyle i think id rather run this mod instead. just something else to make the zombies more dangerous in an interesting way.
This is an insane run. Tip I'm sure you're aware: if you can manage to kill a few zombies in side the police station they may spawn a key for the doors. That's how I always get in but you risk getting closed in.
Yeah, he knows. He was trying to do that but there was just too many zombies lol
I know at some point IndieStone is going to patch that so it wont happen anymore, which will make me sad as its a nice little exploit lol

From what I understand, the building keys will work similar to car keys: they will either spawn on the zombies that spawn in the building, or they will be in a container in the building. Not a 100% chance, but better than nothing.

I make PZ content but my editing is terrible compared to Predz :(
@@tanelviil9149the developers have said time and time again that they’ve been robbed of three laptops, thus losing them a whole month of progress, which they also say wasn’t all that bad but the trauma of the whole thing kept them longer than the burglary itself.
I saw this mod in the workshop and settled for the "they can smell you" mod equivalent for my baby casual brain. Even just attracting the local zombies in 10 tiles was overwhelming. I couldn't imagine 150.
I know this sounds overkill but it'd be cool if your character became slightly panicked when he realized the zombies were coming toward him again until you're desensitized

Idea: Create a magic floating platform surrounded by a dry moat. This can be done with some carpentry 'n' stuff, and might be a good way of getting every zombie in a 150 tile radius into a fire pit for burning.

Thing about exploits to me is that they are fun, under appropriate challenges or circumstances.
Example is that YT'er (name escapes me) that's been doing an Insane pop run of SUPER ZEDS (All parameters cranked to max), even on Rosewood you WILL have to make hard use of several exploits if just to MANAGE things and even then he HAS to make the effort under danger for most of them.
Skybridges? he needs to get wood for planks and find a ton of Nails, no energy? find and store generators beforehand if possible....
Even with some cheesing, certain runs are no easier, just more bearable.

@penileymajorey7174 Exploits are fine if you use a proportional amount of cheese to an appropriate amount of challenge. Normal Zomboid - no exploits, insanely hard settings and mods - exploits are fine. At the end of the day it all come down to if you prefer to play the proper way or the meta way.
@@andrehashimoto8056 Games like this are testaments to longevity and creativity. There's no endgame other than surviving. Exploits, even if costly, detract from that sentiment entirely. I could see it if the AI had sneaky work arounds, say on the firepit example, too many zombies in one place and they can walk over the bodies. However if you're just in the air, you're unkillable. Sure it's a pain in the ass to get resources and "survive" But as the other dude said, at that point, turn on debug, run into hordes with godmode on when you want to feel safe, and turn it off when you want the challenge.

13:00 . . . You know there is this other pedal next to the gas called a brake, it makes the car slow down. You should consider using it more often, especially when you are about to take a corner.

With the surplus store loot you could also clear out the old highway area and grab the gun store loot up there.

One setup I like the idea of but don't know if this, or any other mod has a setting for, is if one zombie knows where you are, they all do. Making stealth a viable and probably preferable playstyle with the same sort of stakes as this.

Watching you runnin' and gunnin' and reloadin' in the dark and the rain was nerve-wrackin.' Reloading a magazine under ideal conditions is tough (the spring has to be high-tension in order for the mechanism to work reliably), so I was imagining slippery rounds and the jostling of the chase. The strobe effect of the gunshots in the darkness was kinda cool, though. =^[.]^=

From my experience with this game, zombies will drop keys for the building they’re in. So best bet if you wanna unlock doors with disassembling them is to grab some of them and kill them in the building until you get a key drop. Works like how car keys used to where you would farm zombies around the desired vehicle until you got the key. In this video… this is much harder.
I've made it so zombies wander great distances and are attracted to blood and dead bodies. its EXTREAMLY challenging to play. It is playable though, just there is almost no down time.

Deaf would be pretty good for this mod. They'll be coming for you regardless, so no audio cues isn't much of an issue in the first place.
Could mean false alarms for clearing out areas, though.
I'm conflicted about become desensitized. Yeah it makes sense from a realistic perspective, but it greatly devalues Veteran.
I mean Veteran is kinda a shit career anyway. Its really only good if you take it for IMMEDIATE use of firearms. I think it would also be good on Military-esque roleplay servers and for large settlements that require armed forced with guns and such for enforcement and town clearing. I definitely see what you mean but also lets look at this realistically, after my thousand zombie killed I probably wouldnt be shocked anymore that the dead are rising after they have you know...died....I think it should come with a debuff though, something like a PTSD-esque trait. Yes you are desensitized to the end of the world BUT you also have PTSD from the things youve seen. Making you less likely to fall asleep easier, more prone to sadness and anxiety, or something like that.
I would argue that the natural panic recovery growing as you survive longer makes the mod negligible. I do wish the game had something akin to less panic generation per zombie as you survive (getting used to the zombies and more comfortable with your odds rather than complete desensitivity), but at least I can just walk away a bit to instantly get back to being calm.
