Hello Fabziy I start Phase 1 training at Pirbright in June when I get to Pirbright will they make us do the Fitness test again if so will it be the old or the new fitness test? Great videos btw really enjoying them..👍
Tobias U.K. Firstly, I’d like to say well done for signing up! From the 1st April 19 we’ve rolled out the new Physical Employment Standard (PES), so you’ll be doing the PES test - Role Fitness Test (Entry) to be precise
Do you take part in phys every morning during and after your phase training? If so what do you have to do every morning and is it optional if you would rather do your own training in a gym? Thank you in advance, would help to know as I’m looking at joining up next year :)
You do a lot of phys in particular in Phase 1 & 2 training, that's not optional at all! And after your training you are required to maintain a good level of fitness (need to pass the annual fitness tests) and you do what you're told to do, sounds hard but it's necessary to get you where you need to be and able to do your job. But it's also a lot of 'fun' as you grow as a person and realise what you can achieve. Good luck!
