get a $10 gram scale and weigh your lures, then you can sort them according to the lure weight rating of your rods.... Plano is top quality I have Plano boxes from the 90s that held the same plastics up to this day, the plastic is perfect.... I wish I could say the same of the lids, they took a beating being dragged everywhere for decades.

that’s exactly what i’ve evolved to now i’ve acquired a couple of different rod setups so i realized it was best to sort out all my boxes by weights for each of the rods so i only bring boxes for the rods i want to carry it’s great and i resist the temptation to overload or put a light ass lure on an overpowered rod

I think the only deviation I found was using a lure with a long bill to dive deep on a light rod... it feels like you are bringing out a fish just reeling it in :)@@DshaunBirch
