Doesn't mean you have to be a jerk to others@@name02
Even the celebs she would throw shade at. If you really really pay attention to the old clips. She doesn't like most people
This isn't exactly Watergate. The producer woman they interviewed was not terribly compelling. She didn't have even ONE example of anything. If she thought Ellen was so mean why wasn't there any good examples that would make her interview even worthy of airing?
It's Inside Edition. What do you expect?
Maybe if they'd given her more than 20 seconds to speak she would have.
She’s going a comedy show not an Oprah interview lmao Ofcouse she’s gonna make it funny
Zero accountability.
She should run for office, she is a true Liberal Democrat.
Disagree. There’s some, just not enough.
@@dianagarrison3138 Laughing at the pain of others negates any apologies she's given. That is essentially what is happening here.
@@SandiByrd. She made fun of herself too, talking about the lengths she went to scare her guests (underground tunnel?!?) and how they probably felt stalked.
I agree it wasn’t enough.
I would have liked for her to say “I almost got myself kicked out of show business but thank goodness for Netflix, and I promise to be a better person!”
@@dianagarrison3138 Again - if you make light of the situation - whether she talks about herself or someone else - it just feels classless to me.....takes away any credibility her apologies have. She should've kept her show about herself and what's happening now. That was a mistake on her part big time.
She's a fraud I never understood why anyone liked her.
So is Kamala, a huge fraud.
Same.😈
I was never fooled by her. She always seemed disingenuous to me.
I am with you. She's always been a jerk.
Ellen disingenuous
Just go away, Ellen ...Please!
Sadly she won’t. They never leave.
@@RullVox She’s doing this since Portia must be sick and tired of her at home ALL DAY.
Don't go away mad...Just go

Take Kamala and go to North Korea
She got kicked out of show business and then goes on to blame Trump for her leaving the US.
Yeah, thats why she's leaving...
Ellen’s off the air, she’s lost her show, the public has turned on her, what more do people want? Move on snowflakes!
"I was kicked out of show business," as she stands on a stage doing her Netflix special. I don't think it makes you a snowflake to point out the hypocrisy and nonsense here.
Well since you asked, now we the people want The View off the air! That would be the perfect Christmas gift for "snowflakes." Thanks in advance ♥

i know someone who worked on the Ellen Show and her first day she was told not to look ellen in the eyes when passing her in the hallway or they'll get fired.
🤦♀️
Wouldn't there have been lawsuits if that were true? 🤦
@@miriamhavard7621you can't sue someone for telling them not to look you in the eye .
@@miriamhavard7621 Of course not. It's abusive, but not illegal.
I always felt the "be kind" had an undertone of "because I dont know how to be, and I struggle with it".
Let’s also talk about how hard it was for Ellen to get audience members for her special 🤷🏻♂️
She was absolutely a wretched boss. She flogged her writing staff unmercifully. Her writers laughed when she laughed because otherwise her mood would tank and she would start verbally flogging them. The idea sessions seem like they were made exceptionally rough because they were in a relatively small office and that closed in atmosphere seemed claustrophobic.
One of the things I found most disingenuous about her was her she would bring kids on for the cuteness factor, but had a fairly strict "no kids on set" policy so she wouldn't have to interact with them that much except on camera.
It’s her ego that won’t let her see the truth .
She's feeding that ego so it's Ellen not wanting to be honest with herself
A typical narsisistic....trying to make everyone feel sorry for her..not taking any blame,!
Love you Ellen. Good Comedian. Be nice to see you in a Comedy Club.
Did you renounce her citizenship?
I never believed her facade of being a nice person.
I didn’t either. I always thought something seemed “off” when I watched her.
Amen to that!
Sadly I did! I’m embarrassed
Never bought it either. She always seemed disingenuous to me, like she was overcompensating.

I have zero knowledge of what went on and I barely followed that story but I will say that nice people, those who treat co-workers and employees with respect and dignity, don’t usually get accused of being abusive.
True
I'll go so far as to say almost no good employer gets accused of abuse, unless someone is trying to extort money.
The two worst places I worked each had people in charge who didn't know what the fook they were doing, were moody and temperamental, and oblivious to their terrible people skills. Both should have had the title of "Mismanagers".

you know it's a toxic environment as soon as she said they were like family to me
I would not trust that producer on a project
Even her first DJ , Tony said it was a toxic environment and he was there for years…
Why would he be there for years if it was so bad?
@ Obviously it takes time to realise things sometimes and he did leave at the end.
He left when the show was still popular, but when you leave a job you cannot badmouth it unless you want to make yourself unemployable…
Ellen just cannot apologize. She is delusional. It's a shame she just cannot be silent. What an ego.
she did apologize on her show.
@@karronlaneNOLA Watch it again. That wasn't an apology.

I guess this is how narcissistic personalities deal with "things".
comedians deal with their issues through comedy, and famous one’s get to do it in a special.
i’d say narcissistic tendencies come with the territory of stand up comedy, and fame. another comedian, mulaney, made a good point about the human condition and being worshipped for so long, can only alter someone’s perception of their reality.
Yup ask MEGALIAR ( Meghan Markle)

Dodging responsibility and dismissing real concerns
She isn’t even funny!!
Tinkerbell
Agreed
Omg 😅
She was, back in the 90s.
Every time I watched her show felt she was very passive-aggressive. Also, she treated certain celebrities obviously better than the others.
She really was passive aggressive. Fortunately some of our guests called her out on it. It's too bad that all of them didn't. Of course she's almost certainly a narcissist it would never have taken responsibility for anything she did, and she never will.
She is a comedian. It was her natural way of dealing with things. Why , if this was how people felt did they wait so long to bring it to the table?

Ellen has left the country. This is good for us all.

Is 2024 the year Hollywood unveils its closet full of skeletons?
Oh trust me, there's so much worse. What has come out is just the tip of the iceberg. When the truth about people like Spielberg comes out, that's when the real skeletons will come tumbling out.
Hollywood always have skeletons behind the closet
2025 will shock the world, 2024 was only the beginning. Nothing can stop what is coming.
As does every other place in the world.
That non apology was so insulting.
I'm still stuck on how this woman ever found a career in the first place. She's never made me laugh one time.
She was very funny in the beginning. I watched her become something different
The only surprise here, is that it took her this long to make up the “alternative “ story. Narcissism never dies, just regroups, for another try.
How quick people forgot what she did.
You and someone else said this. What DID she do? Seriously, I'm wondering.
Yes, what? I missed it.
Look it up. It's not that hard.
She was accused of being a "toxic boss." Big deal. You make it sound like Ellen murdered her staff members.
@@jubi400 She didn't do anything but "be mean" to her staff. All she did was hurt people's feelings! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ellen got kicked out of show business in 1998 for coming out as gay and then welcomed back. Then she got kicked out again for being hostile and mean to her talk show staff. It’s a downward spiral.
Coming out as gay is *not* part of any downward spiral. Surely you don’t intend to say that. 🤔
