Thanks so much! 😊 I did a bit of research before starting the challenge and a lot of the advice was to plan ahead. Honestly so glad I did cause otherwise I would've wasted 2 hours every day just deciding what to draw for 30 min 😆
I’ve noticed that I am more relaxed when I use toned paper. Something about white, like super white, paper, makes me feel intimidated. Keep up the good work 😊
Thank you ever so much! 😊 And yes, for me, especially if I'm painting on canvas I always have to tone it first with a colour, otherwise I'm too intimidated by the white to start haha
You put so much thought into this challenge! I love that you thought outside the box and challenged yourself to use all different kinds of ink mediums ❤
Very nice review of your inktober! I think you did a fantastic job with your drawings. I did inktober a few times now. I think twice before Covid happened and then again for the last 3 years. And I will agree with you that at one point there is that moment where I lose interest. For me it's usually been somewhere in the middle, but then as I see the end approaching I start getting a get more inspired again. Knowing that, I tried for the last 3 years to use materials I might be interested in but haven't used. This year was white acrylic ink on black paper, last year was gouache and watercolor pencils and 2 years ago was digital inking on my tablet. So at least the discovery and learning aspect keeps me a bit more motivated. In the end it's about learning what works for you, staying consistent and just experimenting. Like you said some drawings may not turn out great, but that's okay. Not every drawings we do need to be masterpieces anyway! So once again, great job with you inktober and I look forward to see what you come up with next 😄
Thank you ever so much Cédric for your comment! It's a lovely insight and for sure in the upcoming years I'll have to think of ways to keep it interesting with such challenges! Trying to learn some new materials/ techniques sounds like a good idea for sure, I'll keep it in mind 😊
Great video! I especially like all the travel based art you're doing! 🏖🌎🏞🎨

It's all the animals for me. They're a vibe. Your range is phenomenal!

I loved seeing all your pieces from inktober. 😊 I didn't know you had a separate ideas/planning notebook that makes a lot of sense!
