Fr I’m in a dance competition team and this is true I hate that lifetime does that all we want is some cheering from the audience at the beginning and end and for the big tricks and lifts and stuff

Lia Ugarte she does but she was talking about Maddie because she was dancing on stage unlike Mackenzie. Mackenzie was only six at the time and she wasn’t as good as the other girls on dance at the time, that’s why she was in the dance.
She loves both her daughters the same. I’m honestly getting sick of people commenting things like this, we know, we get the point and it could of also been staged.
Also this was scripted and Kenzie wasn't originally going to be in the show.

I know a lot of people don't agree with me on this but this for me is defently my all time favorite seasson 1 group dance! the song is very upbeat and exciting and I like upbeat, the coustuming is great, and Brooke, Chloe, and Maddies facials, SPOT ON! and the choregraphy is incredible overall I think this was so first place worthy I can't believe that they didnt win even the crowd was going crazy.
I agree with everything except I just want to let you know that all the cheering is fake some of it might’ve been real and probably some at the end was real but no one cheers through a whole dance at a dance competition Yes people do scream during the dance but they don’t scream the whole entire time
I miss the old days when the girls were younger and looked like they were always having fun when dancing. But like THE FULL DANCE THIS IS KILLING ME.

@@bigchungus1251 she didn't build her studio at age 13 she started teaching at that age in her mom's studio. The original dance moms girls actually dance under her mom before Abby took over
you can't fully compare girls during this year at a young age compared to minis in 2018 because it's completely different. Like obviously minis in 2018 are better than the minis in say 2011, but that's because times have changed. I don't know how to explain what i'm saying but yeah😂😂💀

I agree with you, however there were many other minis (or juniors) in 2011 that were way better than them already.
Dance became more rigorous as time went by.
Everybody was like "ohhh wowwww" seeing Brooke doing a needle but like in 2018 every mini can do that... Times have changed soooo much !
I agree. Way more kids home school from a very early age so they can dance full time now. Competition dance also wasn't as big then as it is now so people then put less effort and money into it. Plus competition is now more about tricks than basic dance moves. Not to mention that these girls are from Pittsburgh. All the best teachers go to New York or around the LA area. Because that is where they can get work themselves as dancers when they're not teaching and its also where is the most demand so they can charge more. Plus there are way more conventions and workshops in those areas. It is very hard for Abby to attract the kind of teaching faculty she could attract in New York, get the same demand from customers or to provide external training for her kids.
@@mathildehenry8647 I know right. Lots of the OG's couldn't do one, but in the later Dance Moms seasons lots of girls did it. Heck, I can do it!
