I purchased mine November 2022. I love riding it. But at 70 I have some trouble throwing my leg over. Once on I'm okay. Being 300lbs I haven't tried stepping on the peg to get on because I feel that I might pull it over. So I've thought about lowering it. But not to many recommendation to do that. I'm not going to give up. 😊 Seeing the world on 2 wheels.
I have a 2023 green&white I've owned 57 bikes this bike does everything I need to do at 62 years old mainly bought it for around town and for fishing trips to the bay plenty of power good bike
Thanks for watching! Yeah, it's not my first choice of bike, but there are a lot of off road trails, and dirt roads around me, and every now and then I have this idea that picking up one of these would be a lot of fun to go out and explore. Maybe someday.

so i got a 230s for a deal but i dont want the downsides of the s, is the klx 230 and the s model the same forks different springs or completely different, and whats different about the rear
Yeah, I don't think that's a problem, I just think that's a fact. The fact is that the larger bike fits me well, so it's worth it for shorter riders to try this out and see if it fits them. I can only be who I am, but hopefully seeing me on this bike helps people get a sense, more than they would if they just read the Kawasaki website.
Why such a hard seat? This is a beginner bike and comfort is important I have the KLX300 dual sport and the stock seat feels great What’s great about a street legal dirtbike is its light weight and the Ergonomics upright riding feels great
The seat isn't terrible, but I think the narrowness of the bike requires a firm seat to carry the weight over a narrower area. I think this seat is on par with others in the class.

I saw that ABS brakes is available on the KLX230S, but not on the KLX300. Is it something that you would recommend for a New Rider?
