Ye I just started playing: 25 star
hi i took notes so ✨you don't have to ✨
Part 1, mechanical skills :
- you don't have to be the best at pvp to play bedwars
- make sure your aim is good when you go into fights :]
- learn to sprint reset (basically not holding w the whole time)
- use hotkeys !
- speed-bridging helps a lot, especially with getting around the map
- high bridging helps you put pressure on your component
- block placement in pvp battles help (block placement is when you put a block down so that your component runs into it, thus slowing them down)
Part 2, game sense :
- game sense is knowing what to do and when to do it
- game sense also involves map awareness,
- sometimes you can make your enemy think you're bad and it like, works out in the end
- use good timing, know where the enemy is and if they can get to your bed in the amount of time you're gone.
- its good to know the people in the server, like who's good, who's bad, and who's bed is broken. because it helps you make decisions based off of it.
Part 3, also game sense :
- if you stay at your base the whole time its going to leave you at a disadvantage
- your first objective of the game should be to pressure the island closest to you. (breaking their bed asap)
- having high-ground puts you at a HUGE advantage
- when bridging, you should look back every so often to see what's happening.
- utilizing your items also puts you at a great advantage. some good items are :
- fireballs
- potions
- gapples
- iron golems
- bow and arrow
- TNT
- and more
Part 4, clutching :
- your two must-have items are :
- diamonds
- emeralds
- you should stack up on reinforced armor and sharpened swords,
- sharpened swords if you're good at pvp
- reinforced armor if you're not
Part 5, decision making
- the key to winning games are based off of two ideas :
- what are my odds of survivability?
- who is my biggest threat?

As someone who I'd consider to be good at bedwars, the best tip I can give to anyone is to play for fun, not for stats. I got stuck in the trap of playing only to raise my stats and have a high fkdr and would get so upset over a single final death that I wouldn't be able to enjoy the game. You have to realize that nobody really cares how good you are at a minecraft mini game. Don't worry about needing high stats to attract other high rank players to play with you, because the people who are really worth playing with are the ones that you work best with and the ones who can enjoy the game with you for more than just a number

When it comes to game sense learn to block yourself in when breaking a bed, try to get your shop perfectly shortcutted so you know where to buy things, you only want to prioritize prot, sharp, and miner fatigue (sometimes haste if you dont have anything else to upgrade), also look at the chat to see if someones dominating the game or has xxxx finals so you can target and keep an eye out for them.
Suiki those r just the basics. There are alot more things aswell. (i.e improvising on ur game plan) not saying ur wrong, good comment just adding lol

Thanks to you two, now i know why im bad at pvp. I am always getting killed when in the middle of a battle, now i know what to do. I just hit 40 stars, and seeing that intel is 24 stars just less than 2 years ago motivated me and made me confident for some reason. Also, a big tip for Bedwars is go slow, see what everybody else is doing and copy their movement. A good game will go like this:
You are on a fast iron map. Depending wether the gap is 32 blocks or 48 blocks, wait for either 20 iron ( 64 and 16 wool) or 30 iron (stone sword and 64 and 16 wool)
If you’re playing safe, do a wool defense. Then start to two stack up, after you’re like 10 blocks high, just go for ward. Drop down, if the bed’s exposed break it. If not kill the enemy and then break the bed, then final them. After this, go to your diamond generator. If there are 3 diamonds there, then this means you completed your first rush successfully. If there are 4, that’s fine, you may have taken a while to complete it.
Take those 3-4 diamonds and buy protection and a miner fatigue trap. If you have an extra diamond, bank it in your chest. Go back to the diamond generator and rush the base that’s forward/ closest. If that base is eliminated, go to the one next to it. If that one is eliminated too, go to mid and collect at least 3 emeralds. Bring those back to whichever base is closest. If you don’t have a bed, buy at least 2 potions, and a bridge egg and/ or an ender pearl. If you do have a bed, use 3 of the emeralds to buy and invisibility and jump pot. If you have an extra emerald, buy 1-2 bridge eggs. By now there should be less than 4 people remaining (including you.)
Now, go rush whichever team has a bed. Pot up and use the bridge egg to make a new bridge to them break bed and final them by finding and murdering them. There is a low chance that there are any beds in this game, so go back to mid and collect 8 emeralds. If the emeralds are taken, wait for two to spawn and use that to buy a tracker on whoever you suspect took the emeralds, because they would be your biggest threat at the moment. Find and eliminate. You are a ninja of the night. You can knock them off while invisible or combo the sh*t out of them with just your bare sword. Now, there’s only 1 more person left.
Use what you learned, buy a tracker on them too, hopefully you have sharp by now and have speed and/or jump. Sometimes I like to troll with invisibility, but if the person was skilled enough to make it to the last 2 people, they may not be gullible enough to fall for trolls. So you can skillfully slay them with your potions and your trusty sharp iron sword.
Congratulations, you successfully won a game. It wasn’t a fluke, or an accident. it’s your skill
**repeat 10,000 times to get 1,000 stars.** (Congrats, you are now a truly epic gamer)

One thing I sorta forgot to mention is that you always want to look for chances to knock people into the void. Likewise, you should never position yourself where other players can kb you into the void!
Intel Edits If you stand close to the iron generator, then your teammate picks it up, It will duplicate and both will get the items. Won’t work with diamonds and emerald generators.

Actually I think something you should’ve talked a little bit more about is voiding strategically. I know that even if I know my foe is going to break my bed, I may void just so that I can get full HP and spawn prot. This enables me to normally win the fight, unless they are way better than me at PvP. Then, I can clutch by running to the diamond and emerald generators. Also, I sometimes void simply because my health is low, and I can use that 3 gold to progress toward iron armor, instead of a golden apple. Overall, however, I think you did an outstanding job!

It’s not rude to give feedback, especially if the content is intended to help a person improve. If the content creators aren’t clear and the audience is left confused, then the video failed to do its job. Intel Edits did a great job explaining, however Carl was very distracted. It took Carl several minutes just to get to his point, which only frustrates those who are watching to learn ways to improve.

This was the last video I watched before pulling the biggest clutch ever
My teams bed got destroyed first, then everybody else's bed got destroyed and we didn't lose anybody. Red and yelloe died and blue was left. We both had 4 players and then 3 of blue's team died. We kept shooting each other with arrows and then built our own towers just to shoot arrows and eventually the last person dies, and we didn't lose a single person throughout all of it

I recommend putting a stack of blocks in the chest. When people are trying to break your bed, instead of fighting them and dying, punch them away and then quickly place blocks in front of them. After you do that, keep placing blocks all around the bed. They will need more time to break to your bed, which means more time to hit him with your wooden sword.

AM4Z1NG Actually there’s a lot of other servers that has bedwars, for example hive which is on bedrock. I’m also pretty sure hypixel is both pe and pc.
@@annabanana3658 no. Hypixel is only java edition, and hive bedwars is a rip off with almost no similarities. Bedrock edition of the hive bedwars doesn't even have a bed.
my biggest holdback is FPS drops and high ping
same, aussie ping and a cheap a pc, specs are good but quality is just terrible. i get from 300 to 1000 ping (400-500 average)
@@anytuna it's not that the ping is unbearable it's that it makes it that little bit more difficult. Everything feels delayed and we can't do much about if anything at all.
