    • @adamdrzazga2042
      @adamdrzazga2042  2 місяці тому +1

      1.Did you change the volume size? If so, how large is it?
      2. When adjusting the volume size, make sure to increase the "Resolution Max Axis" to around 300-450; this should be sufficient.
      3. With a larger volume, always increase the Min/Max Radius settings.
      4. To enhance the "cloud texture definition," add more noise using the Turbulence / Curl Noise settings.
      5. In the Clouds Generator folder, find "Example_08." There is a mannequin with settings like those in the promo video. Try to replicate these settings if your character is of similar size.

    Can you explain the setup instructions for making the simulated clouds react to objects passing through them, like an airplane? Or does that "just work" when moving objects through them, so long as there is collision?

    • @adamdrzazga2042
      @adamdrzazga2042  8 місяців тому +2

      It should just work when moving objects through volume. Only you need to have collision in your object ;)

    • @RichardBoisvert
      @RichardBoisvert 8 місяців тому

      @@adamdrzazga2042 Thank you. What if the object is also exerting a dynamic force, such as a helicopter. In the helicopter example I would expect 2 things:
      1. ✅ The cloud reacting to the helicopter object collision
      2. ❓The cloud being pushed down due to the wind generated from the helicopter blades spinning

    • @Bova-Fett
      @Bova-Fett 6 місяців тому

      @@RichardBoisvertI think the 1st point is handled already providing there is collision on the helicopter.
      As for the force, you would need to set it up so there is an area at the bottom and below the plane that exerts a force of some kind. Off the top of my head I’m not sure what I’d do but I think as long as you’re making use of unreal engines built in physics system you’re fine.

    Ok, I’m a bit new to unreal engine so maybe I’m missing something, but why do the clouds look like such low quality? Even at 400 resolution matching what you did, the quality is very very bad and blurry. Is this to be rendered at higher quality and the ‘lit’ view is compressed? I’m so confused, cause I can’t use this in my final scene it looks not so high quality lol do you just go with it?? Does it look better after you put everything else with it? I’m a bit confused here

      Hello,
      Could you send me your setup or record your screen? I need to check how you have configured the system. If you have a very large volume, you can increase the resolution and adjust the Min/Max Radius Size in the Niagara Fluids - Source Parameters. You can find my email in the Marketplace, and I will check your problem.
      Thank you!
