Zero Point has more space around the aiming dot. The two middle pillars are further apart. But takes up way more screen space all around. I think it's considerably worse.
That's a fair take. I think it comes down to what is more important to you as a player: side visibility, or sight visibility. Personally, I'd rather have better vision on my crosshair and target.
I'd be cool if someone made an easily accessible way to compare all iron sights of a specific weapons skins. Like if i wanted to compare the 'circle of power' and 'wild ride' prowler skins or 'bestial instincts' and 'ethereal expectations' sentinel skins (just examples of obscure skins that nobody's going to compare)
I feel that Zero Point is the go-to skin, but probably because it has a bland color scheme and is a slim skin, but the skin comparison is about iron sights so that is why we might be wrong with Zero Point = best
I can agree cutting edge is better. I mainly use the Zero point skin, IMO it's the best option and looks sick AF! It has none of the side flares and it has an amazing iron sight with that 1.5 ADS zoom.
Personally I think the reactive part of the lvl100 BP skins seem a bit distracting. Not a dealbreaker, but it does make me tend to switch towards Totally Gnarly (also a great color scheme imo)
I dont care about the effects at all, i just use the killswitch because the colors in the ironsight are static, the battlepass skin has a lot of moving parts that make it distracting for me when aiming, i much rather have a metallic static ironsight even when it has the big tube on the side. Also, i would use zero point if i had it.
I would also consider the sound it makes after kills, which can actually interfere with footsteps from enemies :D, if a third party comes in out of nowhere after you finish a team. XD
@@Tyler-vm5hn , no, no. Not a focus problem. Apex sound problem. It might just fully remove footstep audio for that one second. Just like gunfire removes footstep audio and you just don't hear a person walking behind you, which is a very common problem in the game.
When I think of iron sights, I think of the actual sight. Not all the other stuff on the gun. And as long as it isn't something stupid like the wings on the eva 8 and prowler legendary skins, the extra "clutter" if you even want to call it that makes little to no impact
Also many ppl miss the fact that the front sight has a neat looking ammocount as well. 0:36 look at the golden pointy bits not the numbers and see if you don´t know.

its just weird for me imo, i have the kill switch and the zero point set as my in-game favorite, so the game randomly picks one of them for me when i get into matches, and for some reason i feel like i land more headshots with the kill switch

Most games have right side advantage, so trading space on the left isn't a bad deal. This next part could just be a cope but I think the asymmetry might also help with depth perception. The pass ADS feels a little jarring, almost like you're playing Quake 1 with the weapons center screen, (don't get me wrong, I think that shit's cool and it works for Quake).
I missed out on pretty much all the good skins in battlepasses, season 4 I didn't buy for some reason, season 7 I didn't even played the game at the time, it's sad for me.

Nah, for me the store p2w R99 is better than LV 100 BP. Ive had both and i feel the recoil is removed everytime i use the store R99. This could be an illusion cuz a matter of taste but i feel the Placebo. My spray is worse with the BP R99.
Man I would definitely rock the Lvl 100 BP skin had I owned it, unfortunately I didn't buy the battle pass in S7 because I was new to apex and wasn't sure If I would last long. Now I'm having regrets :(
@@sbriaz3512 none that I know of. As far as I know everything from the S10 and older BPs are no longer obtainable, unless again like I said we could hope they do more BP recolors like they did for Fast Fashion Octane skin and sold it for Apex coins
@@sbriaz3512 the only other way to get the old skins is to buy someone’s account who played the game during that season and owns the skin but I wouldn’t recommend it just not worth the risk of getting ripped off

Both are pretty good but was able to get avalanche skin without paying and once you get used to it pretty good

Im using the kill switch. If you’re using it for too long you won’t mind the tube. You won’t even notice it while aiming if you’re used to it.

I'm so lucky I own the lvl 100/110 BP skin. I never really used the R99 until I got the skin since i just joined that season.
I just got the Outlands avalanche skin and it’s amazing
i also like the bp skin more. But unfortunately i dont have it so i have to settle with the kill switch.

I hit far more shots with the kill switch especially when comparing the 2 with a 1x
because 1x sights dont zoom in but use your 1x ads sense, while the iron sights zoom you in a bit
