I really love Pennsylvania. I love the Amish. There’s such hard workers and all the farms are very very clean. I used to live in Maryland and I would drive up in Lancaster every weekend and every day I get a chance I just love it.

Much more eco friendly than a 400hp self propelled forage harvester. Fact is it work well for the Amish.

well, 400 was the past. Today it is up to 1100 hp. But: Let's not kid ourselves. The modern ones are bound to be much more efficient - economically and ecologically - per acre than such an old setup - that also needs a motor on top of the animals.

Very efficient combination of real horsepower and motorized equipment, but no tranquility here, with the motor right next to the teamster.

Shame it doesn’t show the whole process from field to storage. Also you still have a motor driving the chopper so not that eco friendly.

Thanks for watching. Check out my other content. Vertical silo storage and silage bag.
Not trying to be snarky, but how would you suggest the corn be processed without the use of an engine? Being eco- friendly wasn’t much of a consideration in the method chosen.
