Heard this song when I was around 14. And it gave me so much hope and faith in my creator that he loved me. Im now 52, and a polished living stone. Love your song.
For six months or longer, I've been trying to remember what song I heard 40 years ago that said "love your neighbor as yourself, but you must learn to love yourself" -- so tonight, I started working my way through Honeytree songs, and here it is! That one sentence has guided me for so much of my life journey. Sitting here wiping tears, whispering "thank you" to God and Honeytree for this song.
Lord have mercy! What a lovely melody. Beautiful lyrics, arrangements and what a heavenly voice! To our God be the glory! Honeytree, you are amazing. Christ be with you always.
I heard this song on a radio program called Night Sounds out of Chicago Illinois. I had been singing the melody for a long time and couldn't remember all of the words. I finally looked it up and listened to it and it just brings me to tears sometimes. I had never heard of the person that sings it but I'm going to research more of her songs. She has a very beautiful voice and kinda puts me in the mindset of Karen Carpenter. 😍
i remember night sounds too.and this song from the 80's on a cbn station wxri. are you familiar with a song by a woman of that time.....................goes something like? when i'm close to breaking......................when you're near..................i do not recall much of the lyrics.
At 0:49 see that wall? I worked at Harmony Magazine on those issues shown. Took the picture to the left of her head at Soldiers & Sailor's Hall in Pittsburgh. Nancy was always very nice.
@@NancyHoneytreeMusic I believe you were there several times when I was helping with those. I have many photos from those concerts. One was the bicentennial one where we had a dozen or more different artists.
@@kimberlyspillers461 Thanks. I have hundreds of pictures from concerts. I wonder if I post them if UA-cam will get rights to them? I'll have to think about that.
